Great value for money

Exceptional value for a hotel in London. Located centrally. Easy access to all areas. Standard in hotel exceeded our expectations. Really impressed that breakfast was included. We will return to this hotel when in London

Idéal pour séjour londonien en famille

Bon emplacement, au coeur du city center. Établissement propre, la prestation est de qualité et de proximité avec ses clients (loin des hôtels "usine"). Idéal pour séjour en famille!

La plaque d égout bruyante à chaque passage de voiture devant l hôtel, quel dommage !

We couldn’t have needed anything more. Very happy.

Lovely clean, friendly hotel. The breakfast was really tasty and the location for soho and the theatre was great.

The beds were a little too hard for me but that is just personal preference not a criticism.

Small and cozy hotel in the middle of the city

Cozy centrally located hotel within walking distance to Oxford Street. Good breakfast, nice and clean rooms and a helpful staff.

The hotel lived up to expectations. However, you should be aware that there is no lift in the hotel. This is only a problem if you have difficulty walking.

Great location , the lady who greeted us was very nice and helpful

The breakfast on the second morning was particularly disappointing. The young lady had a extremely bad attitude I thought, also we where served lukewarm tea and bread that was warm rather than toast

Very good

Location is good. Well sited for theatres, Covent Garden & British Museum. Room looked nice & clean. Plenty of variety at breakfast. Reception staff friendly, helpful & welcoming. Able to leave luggage safely after checkout.

Mattress very hard. No hooks or storage in bathroom. Distinct lack of tourist information. Room not serviced as one of us was in the shower in the afternoon when cleaner knocked on the door. She didn't come back - she said she hadn't time.

Comfortable, clean and centrally located little hotel in London.

Location very close to main attractions and underground stations. Clean, well kept facilities, comfortable room.

Breakfast could offer more variety. Some receptionist at the night shift was not very friendly.

Superb

The hotel was warm, comfortable with great service. The triple room was perfect for a friends weekend away. Triple rooms are hard to find but the room was spacious and comfortable. The freshly cooked breakfast was also nice and it was much better than the buffet breakfast you have at large hotels. Hotel is also in a great location. Only 5 min walk to the British museum and 15mins to covent garden

Pleasant stay close to all the main attractions

The Staunton Hotel was in the perfect location to explore London as a first-time visitor. The building is an old Victorian building and had the ambiance we desired for London. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was comfortable for our stay and the shower was roomy and had great water pressure. The staff was courteous and provided information on traveling by taxi, as well as lent us plug adapters when we forgot ours. Breakfast included is a great value for the hotel fare. A full English breakfast cooked to order with eggs, sausage, ham, and beans, as well as toast, fruit, and cereals every morning. Coffee was good as well.

The beds were very hard.

While the facility was pleasant, the NOISE was unbearable.

Facility was good. Room quality was very good with the standard of presentation and amenity. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was very good such that the room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was OK but the limited and heavily accented English of the server made the conversation frustrating, and then neither breakfast was correct; even so it was well cooked. Staff were very friendly.

The noise and room location were dreadful. Our room was on the ground floor (OK!); near the front door (Oh, oh!); adjacent the stairs (Now we have a problem!). Worst of all, our room opened onto a void that was above the kitchen/dining area and the staff had zero respect for the noise. I do not know where the noise eminated, but it was full volume until after 2330, and started again at about 0700. Oh, and did I mention the kitchen evacuator fan ... like a large air con unit, right outside our window. I expect other rooms facing this internal area would be faced with the same issue. I started to feel I had angered someone to be given such a terrible room.
