Staff very helpful and friendly. Food excellent and a lovely coffee shop and patio. Parking at rear of hotel a real plus as Chipping Camden can be difficult.
We were very happy with our one night stay to meet friends. Did not spend our time looking for negatives.

Friendly staff and room clean and comfortable
Staffing shortages at breakfast resulted in 45 mins delay even though choice from menu pre-booked the following evening. However staff communicated well and comment is not a complaint.
Bedroom overlooked the outside seating area which was noisy until midnight-not an issue as on holiday but if on business trip and needed good night's sleep then recommend booking a quieter part of the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Dinner was exceptionally good
The bathroom in my deluxe room was not up to standard. Old paintwork , no shower screen or curtain, cobweb in ceiling. Looked tired and dated.

Very happy with both rooms, staff and food. Having its own car park is a bonus.
Couldnt find anything we didnt like

Reception area, restaurant, bar, receptionist (chloe) was very helpful. Breakfast was good.
Poor quality room for the price, the shower had major issues, in that it did not drain. Description of this hotel as boutique did come up to what i would consider boutique, it was a tired looking room, with nothing to distinguish it from a standard budget hotel room.

Very old and just like you would expect from an old coaching Inn . Rooms were very clean and the restaurant staff were exceptionally efficient
The rooms furniture and bathroom although very clean very tired and had lots of chips

We love the location of the Noel Arms-the staff couldn’t have been lovelier! The hotel was clean and friendly, and just right for us. The only suggestion I would have would be to make the breakfast options a little more clear and varied. We stayed for four nights, and the cold buffet was exactly the same each morning Dash it would’ve been nice to have a little change each morning, even if it were just the breakfast pastries the staff was so welcoming, especially the young girl, who welcomed us when we first came in very late and very tired – she was delightful! Wish I could remember her name, but I do know that we met her mother and we passed on our complements. Her mother also works at the hotel and is lovely as well , a great place to stay…
The breakfast offered was a bit unexceptional, and the coffee was just a little odd with grounds and unfiltered coffee at the bottom of each cup.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent.
Managing the heating in the room. Too warm when we got there and when we went to sleep.

Food and drinks were both very good. It's a great location to see the cotswolds, walking or driving.
I have a minor complaint about the room. The shower head could've been clean out.

food and bedding was ok
1. I booked 2 nights - all taxes and service charges are included in the price, despite this,
at checkout I received an invoice with an additional 42 pounds for the service,
the employee at the reception explained that nothing could be done, the program automatically considers.
I began to argue that my booking was all includes and I’m not going to pay anything extra and the employee easily agreed to remove these 42 pounds from the bill.
I remembered that I had read about this hotel in a review about exactly the same case, so this is their usual practice
2. my booking included dinner cost 50 for two.
the same employee at checkin explained that we can take whatever we want in the restaurant,
just 50 pounds that we paid for dinner will be deducted from our final bill. we ordered 2 dishes of 18 pounds and a bottle wine for 26.
when calculating, it turned out that wine was not included in the price of dinner and for 2 dishes of 18 pounds we paid 50, that is, we were robbed of 14 pounds.
all this should be very embarrassing for such a respected hotel in the heart of England in the past

A great location right on the High St with parking behind. Good bars and a cafe and also a very good breakfast. The Restaurant was very good too and we had an excellent dinner. We didn't have a dog but as the hotel is very dog friendly there were lots around which was rather nice. Open fires etc. and lots of nooks and crannies.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Chipping Campden is a great Cotswolds choice, full of charm and with everything you need in terms of shops and eateries.
Our Superior room was nice and big but could be spruced but a bit as it was a little bland and old fashioned (nice big comfortable bed though'). My main issue would be that the windows are very old and let in draught and noise. I appreciate there may be listings issues with such a charming old building but it would be the first thing I would address in that room. I should stress this didn't spoil our stay though.
Also, we were hiking and in winter that inevitably means wet clothes and muddy boots. A drying outhouse room of sorts would be a great idea, and might be useful for dog owners too.

Contacted the hotel due to an issue with room 8, saif they would revert back, no call back. Contacted the hotel to ask a Manager to call me back and no call back.
A call back!

Lounge and bar comfortable.
Tea and coffee in room plus water really good.
Bedroom needs updating - very basic.

Location, The building, history very nice
The Windows didn't shut properly and had multiple cracks. The Bathroom was like a shared London Bedsit after 20 years... The shower water / temperature system was broken, there was a screw in the wall to hang your clothes and the radiator didn't work.
Also... I booking was for £150 a night, but had to pay £165 at check out as tax was added

good location, dog friendly, has parking
bathroom is very dated. Personally I found the shower water pressure too low and temperature not hot enough. The plastic cover on the bottom of the shower rail kept falling off. The sink doesn’t have a mixer tap so the water from the hot tap is scolding and water from the cold tap is icy cold.

Lovely old hotel on Chipping Campden's main street, with free parking to the rear. Friendly welcome, nice room with four-poster bed which was very comfortable. Cosy bar and cafe area with excellent hot chocolate and cake. Pub serves 2-3 real ales. Room was lovely and warm and even though we overlooked the street, it was fairly quiet (although it did snow overnight!). Chipping Campden has several good pubs, some nice independent gift, art and deli shops, and some lovely buildings. A good base for touring the Cotswolds.
It snowed overnight, heavily, which may have impacted on staff availability in the morning. Breakfast service was a little chaotic and slow, although the quality of the food was excellent, and it is always good to be able to order espresso. When we chased up a few forgotten things, staff were apologetic and rectified accordingly.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location, excellent breakfast and lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff. Wonderful spa experience and generally a fabulous weekend.
As residents would have liked to have been able to get drinks later, the bar shut for everyone including residents sadly.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful even when I asked if it was possible to change our room to one closer to reception.
Really pet friendly love that they can sit with us in the conservatory at mealtimes including breakfast. For those who do not have dogs there is a separate dining room.
Immaculate room and very comfy bed.
Nice to see proper cups back in the rooms and breakfast buffet back after covid. Also good to no longer have to preorder breakfast.
Shower had a tendency to run hot and cold.

Car park was very useful as town was packed with parked cars.
Breakfast choice was good and tasty (but toast under done due to faulty toaster apparently)
Hotel room appeared to attempting shabby chic, but was just shabby. Carpet stained, wardrobe doors wouldn't stay shut.
Loud noise of music from public areas below due to ceiling speakers being under our floor. Very annoying at 7am.
Step inside door major trip hazard. Had me on the floor twice, needs warning notice on door.
WifI was useless.
Shower very weak and too low to get under properly.
Bedside lights too dim to read by.
Radiator valves stuck shut.
No view at all out of windows,
