Great location, good breakfast and comfortable clean rooms, friendly helpful staff

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast (apart from juice!).

Sink and shower were slow to drain. Slight unpleasant smell in bathroom. Fruit juices at breakfast seemed diluted. Only two teabags on tray in room (no choice).

Efficient and comfy bed. Everyone I encountered with staff was kind especially helpful was Caitlyn

A tired and dirty place.

I liked very little - though the staff were welcoming.

The room was stained and had the feeling of grime and unleanliness, with tired and dirty fictures and fittings, stained chair and carpet, and lights that didn't work. I didn't actually want to touch anything.

Great location and value for money. Nice short walk to tram stop which was only 15 min ride into Manchester centre.

Great location. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was a bit of a scrum, however we did arrive at peak time.

Pleasant enough hotel in good location

Overall the room was fine. Light by bed was ants to work out and seemed to only work sporadically. That may have been because we weren’t doing the right thing but it was difficult to work out. The toilet wouldn’t flush when we arrived and it got mended. Next morning it still wouldn’t flush and it was a problem really

Great overnight stay

The hotel is in a great location. We went to a show at The Lowry theatre, which was a short walk away. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. What more do you need ?

Very disappointing.

The location is superb.

The room smelled of baby sick. There was a travel cot in the room which I didn’t request. I spoke with reception staff and was promised I would be given another room and that I could collect the key to the new room when I arrived back from a family celebration meal. When I got back the reception staff on the late shift seemed to know nothing about the room change and didn’t give me a key to another room. They said something about the new urtiwns smelling. My partner and I had to stay in a room for 2 nights that smelled of baby sick and had to take the travel cot out of the room ourselves.

Salford quays, birthday trip.

Friendliness, location, convenient.

As a wheelchair user, hotel fine but the quays not suited to wheelchairs, very few dropped kerbs,had to travel on roads,access to some areas ment long detours,. Having said that,still worth a visit, and yes i would go again

Lady on reception was superb. Extremely professional under pressure.

Air con in room only set at 20 degrees but not functioning. Thank goodness for a window that opened. Also lighting in room was a bit pathetic

so close to Old Trafford ... literally the view from our window ... 15 mins walk away

pleasant but ruined with external problems

the area was great with good links to the city

there were a few power cuts early in the evening ( unavoidable not holiday inns fault) however this impacted my ability to complete some work related tasks and also effected the boiler system so caused problems with the shower heating when I woke up..

One night stay in Manchester

The check-in staff were friendly. With the lady on the desk registering us for IHG one rewards. The room was clean with a huge comfortable bed, had a great night's sleep with no noise from other rooms even though the hotel was busy. The Bathroom with the shower was good also. Buffet breakfast was nice especially the butter croissants. Would definitely stay again when visiting Manchester
