The Service was amazing. The Bed was comfortable. The Hotel was spotless. and the Location was perfect overlooking the harbour.
Just one small thing I didnt like, the Bath Screen did not move so could not reach the taps without getting into the bath. But we managed.

Delicious breakfast, comfortable room, excellent location for exploring Lynmouth and surrounding area. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Impressive attention to detail - from attractive decor to menu to dining room playlist!
Very limited car parking - but the hotel voucher for nearby public car park eases the pain. Hotel stairs/ access to rooms awkward with luggage. A lift would be great!

Good location. Comfortable room.
lovely breakfast. Friendly staff.
The room was a bit noisy. The people in the room above us sounded like they were stomping around!

Very qwerky hotel. Bar next door is attached. Dining area is very smart. Fresh milk available for drinks. Ethically sourced items i.e. loo roll.
Hotel is right in the middle of the town.
Our fault but we left it too late to book the restaurant - pub available but it was super busy.
Parking is a little way off but there is an opportunity to drop off. We bought a parking ticket for £5 not realising the hotel can provide a free permit.

Overall it was very good
No proper bar and lounge, old styling

Lovely, quirky hotel on the harbour. Really friendly staff and feels genuinely family run. We are planning to return quite quickly.

The properly was very clean and quirky, the room/rooms we were in were clean and cosy too.
The bar/ restaurant staff were all so friendly.
The Sunday roast we had was amazing, probably one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had, so very pleased with that!
Unfortunately the room we first stayed in, you could hear loud thudding noises (sounded like a laundry room) or something similar to that noise every morning at 6:30-7am and would go on for about an hour or two, it had unfortunately disturbed our sleep for two mornings in a row, the first morning I thought maybe it was a one off so it didn’t bother me massively, but then the 2nd morning at the exact same time it happened again, that’s when it did bother me after a long day out I really wanted a good night sleep :( We had tried a couple times to find someone at the hotel reception desk but unfortunately no one was to be seen until the 3rd day of our stay where a lady did help us and moved our room, it was a lovely stay although it did ruin the experience of being there from being tired from not getting a good sleep.

The hotel was cosy but stunning and very close to the beach and all shops and restaurants. All staff were extremely friendly and provided the best service. My 2 boys loved their bunk beds. Room was spacious and very clean.
I didn't like that I had to leave this little gem! I will be back for longer !

We woke the owner/manager at 1am to get in on our first night and she said "It was a pleasure!" How kind of her, as I felt awful for waking her.
Breakfasts were a perfect size and beautifully cooked.
Staff were lovely. Cold water bottles in the fridge was ace(milk too)! thank you visitors always need spare water.
Fresh coffee right amount, I hate wasting a large cafetière of coffee for one. My taste is for coffee which is a little lighter in the morning.
I would have liked to spontaneously eat in the dining room without booking it and it's popular but I could eat in the pub start which was fine.

Staff were lovely, food excellent.
We didn't get what we paid for. We paid for a "King room - includes private parking" .. On arrival we were told it didn't include a car park. One was then found for us but it was only an "add on." The room did not have a chair of any description. We were there for 5 nights and did not in that time have a change of linen - I have never been to an hotel so poorly serviced!
We also had family in the Quarterdeck family suite. They only had 1 change of towels and also did not have a change of linen!
4.3
Great location, very clean and comfortable.
Nothing!!!
