The hotel building was a marvelous historical building, with a fantastic olde worlde feel. Staff were impeccably polite and helpful in particular the guy sorting out the parking outside.
The limited parking onsite and being unable to reserve did add pressure to the arrival.
4.3
Good breakfast choice and good dinner. Close to railway station
Hotel on flight path so noisy until midnight and very early morning. Room service finished too early. No iron/board in room which was inconvenient but you could request one. Parking poor.
4.3
I loved the proximity to the palace and the staff was amazing!
We were in a room that we could hear someone above us that was very noisy.
4.3
I like this hotel - it’s comfortable and quiet with a lovely restaurant serving excellent food. Recommended
Top end of budget for a visit rip but worthwhile given the location and restful stay.
4.3
It was beautiful and perfectly located for the palace across the road
The noise when people were walking in the floorboards…. Woke me up unfortunately
4.3
Beautiful situated, quirky, lots to see and very well appointed.

Our room at the Mitre hotel was everting we had hoped for and being able to walk directly across the street to Hampton court was perfect.

We stayed there before and after our wedding and they left rose petals on the bed for us.
Room is clean and spacious, bed was comfortable.
Friendly reception staff - not the night porter -
We were given the Boat House room and unfortunately it’s poorly soundproofed: I could hear people chatting upstairs and the creaking sounds of their steps on the wooden floor which forced me to wake up at 5am. Definitely not acceptable for the price paid.
The night of our wedding we went back to the hotel around 1am and were left outside waiting with no one to be found (reception was deserted and the night porter did not pick up the phone). It took 10minutes of banging on the door and shouting to finally get in.

everything! the staff were wonderful, the decor was gorgeous, nothing was too much trouble. a very relaxing and enjoyable stay
it's close to a main road but you don't even notice once inside
4.3
Lovely people, great location and excellent facilities.
The room was far too hot
4.3
Great location, friendly staff, very welcome glass of wine on checking in, stylishly furnished and well appointed room, and excellent breakfast
4.3
picturesque, and nicely renovated
bed mattresses could be updated, had to change rooms as the one mattress sagged.

The staff was amazing. The furnishings throughout the whole hotel and our room were beautiful. You won't believe the breakfasts. They are fantastic. We are vegan and they had wonderful plant based options that were delicious, in addition to standard options. And the views are of the Thames. it was really very nice. 1665 is a beautiful restaurant as well and the food was delicious. The location across from Hampton Court was an easy and the train ride to London Waterloo was direct.
They can't fix the wooden floors on a building built in 1665. We found it charming that they were a little uneven on the upper floors.
4.3
rooms nice, clean, great location. nice touch on complementary wine on arrival.
wasn’t amazing VFM even though it was lovely. very disappointed at unclear advice on breakfast and what was in the price & what wasn’t - led to wasted expense.
4.3
I liked the location, ideal in front of Hampton Court and overlooking the water.
I liked the decoration of the common areas.
The room felt damped and I didn’t like the fact that I had to keep my blinds closed as we were on the ground floor and the terrace was shared with 3-4 other bedrooms. I didn’t feel safe and worried that people would use the lovely patio for gatherings. They did but until a reasonable hour but I had to keep my blinds closed from the only bay window and stayed in a dark while trying to relax.

nice location, beautiful rooms and very good food
no slippers provided

The hospitality was spectacular, wine on arrival. Our room 208 was really nice and the bed was comfortable, The bathroom was clean and tidy. Hands down one of the best showers I've had too.
My only gripe was the duvet being a little too thick for my liking but thats personal preference 🙃 room got a little warm trough the night due to radiators coming on not being able to turn them off.
4.3
Excellent stay very comfortable and great location for our weekend.
My car was moved by the staff which was fine but they didn't lock the car up afterwards. Has some personnel belongings that could have been taken.
4.3
Hotel nice and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. An old favorite and many characteristics the same. It’s had a fluff and puff. New paint and carpet.
The restaurant was the worst dining experience EVER. Service non existent. Food inedible. Salty. Appalling presentation. 2 hours to get our meal. Had to ask several times for EVERTHING. Drinks. Bread. Dinner. It was like we weren’t there. In a black hole. This would put me off revisiting the hotel. I wish I had looked at trip advisor. DO NOT EAT HERE. WARNING.

Great location, lovely comfortable and spacious room. Quirky and characterful hotel. Clean and well equipped bathroom.
The fridge wasn't plugged in so the milk was a bit yuck. Also unable to cast to the TV.
Relatively minor niggles though
4.3
Cool location on the river! Room was lovely and fancy with a big bath in the bedroom! Restaurant has a great view of the river. Breakfast was good.
It is a bit fiddly to come off the road and park.
4.3

Great location, clean and very helpful staff, especially Sabrina
Room was quite warm and no room temp controls
4.3
Nice riverside location, pleasant “village” type feel on the edge of London. Would have been convenient for trains had they been running! All very clean and comfortable inside.
4pm check in is late. Room was a good size but minimal shelving or hanging space for towels, coats etc.
4.3
The hotel was beautiful historic building with a fantastic view of the Thames.
There wasn’t any plug sockets near the bed
4.3
friendly staff, good service.
lack of parking

location is good for Hampton court
Breakfast that is included is only continental and the selection of fruit and cereals is poor . Definitely not worth the money
