It's tired, needs refurbishment.

It is in a good position.

The shower leaked, the basin leaked, the washing machine did not work. I stayed for 6 nights wasn't offered a room clean, clean towels etc. I had to ask the ladies doing the cleaning for fresh towels. I could have gone to reception and asked but really for 6 nights surely a towel change is not much to ask for. Also, don't be fooled by parking included, there is very minimal parking at the site and cars were all over the drive way parking and if you can't get a park you have to pay for metered parking on the street.

Good location but average.

Location was great and nice view sea view.

Bookings.com advertised free parking but this is not accurate. Parking is limited and not guaranteed so you may have to park on the street and either pay or move the car. The Mantra website has a very confusing statement re parking.

My stay was pleasant and the hotels quality met all and more of my needs.

Everything was clean and in working order.

The elevators did not feel stable for me, there was a little ant problem but the staff came and handled it well.

It was pleasant.

I like that the room had everything I needed during my stay. It also had good security measures in place, that made me feel safe.

The walls were thin, I could hear other guests in their rooms. The kitchen was not up to date, the microwave oven had all the labels rubbed off and it was hard to use. And the fridge was loud.

It’s a very central location we would stay again

Excellent location with great views

Stayed for5 nights could have done with a couple of extra towels in the bathroom as the ones we had started to smell

Very small room for price but great location being so close to everything.

Close to the esplanade and lots of bars and restaurants

Wonderful, we will return

Perfect location for what we were after. The balcony looked out the perfect direction. We could not have wished for better placement of our room

The shower water went all through the bathroom and out onto the carpet. No instructions with the dehumidifier which had an error code. We didn't touch it because it said not to. On checkout she said it needed emptying...would have been nice to know what we had to do to get it working

Great view and location but rooms need some work for the cost

Room was in need of refresh. There was not enough sofa space for all people booked in. Dishwasher was not particularly effective and the Internet provided didn’t work as expected.

Probably won't stay here again due to poor stay experience.

Rooms were very clean and view was excellent also staff were quite friendly.

I have stayed many highend resorts ect most of them priced lower than this, and this did not meet my expectations, upon entering our room the first thing I noticed was that the fire alarm was missing which is a big saftey risk and legally required, I could not find it anywhere in the room. We found the room climate control was not accurate at all and could not find a balance between freezing cold or really hot, also listing said it was 1 extra large double bed when actually was just 2 single beds pushed together which was extremely disappointing because it was the first few days of our honeymoon and made it very uncomfortable for us trying to sleep. Also we found the pool very disappointing as it was alot smaller than expected for a resort style stay, and the water was not heated. Other small things that made it less enjoyable was the lift taking 5min+ to come to our floor, the dryer in our room took hours to dry clothes and when left in there overnight came out wet again the next morning. the WiFi was extremely slow and just ended up using mobile data instead. Will definitely probably try staying somewhere else next time we are down this way.

Location. View quiet safe no service of room. Relaxing.

Sorry I didn’t stay longer.Room was cold. Could have had a blanket. Managed ok.

Location, good bed, ocean views

Parking was a hassle. They only have limited parking so most of the time you are parking on the street, and having to pay. The cabinetry in the bathroom has broken off in places showing exposed particle board, very cheap looking, should be repaired/replaced before they re-let apartment. Musky smell in our room, obviously hasn't been open in a while.

Very Poor accommodation for a 4 star hotel. Not recommended

Central close to all amenities

No serving even for a week stay. Expensive for just a bedroom and bathroom. Room very shabby and couldn’t sit on the sofa due to the mouldy smell of it. The beds were unsteady and kept rolling away. No comfort to relax.

it was perfectly located at walking distance from everything you may need in Cairns

the bed wasn’t too comfortable, for having the bedroom clean you should pay extra (if stay less than 8 nights)

Re the above comment felt like it was a dodgy way to make extra money!

Paid good money and no available car spaces on arrival. Requested late check out, was told 11am, then it was changed to an additional $30 till 11am and then changed to $50!!

Disappointing for the price

The bathroom was not clean. The door didn’t even close because of water damage and the toilet was broken

Location is ideal Staff were pleasant. Cleaning staff were obliging and eager to help.

Cleaning cycle was once in 14 days and at the 12 day point. Only done after we went to desk and pointed out that it had not been done up to that point. Given the price, this was a disapointing result. It seems that the level of service is lower than previous, with large cost increase overall.
