I ended up swapping to this hotel at the last minute for my holiday to North Zealand and I didn't regret it. It is a large conference hotel, set in its own sculpture park grounds, overlooking the sea and a marina, and I imagine a gorgeous venue for a business meeting, but out of season, I practically had the place to myself, which felt very luxurious and extra peaceful. The room was quite small & functional, but very comfortable, however you would expect this from a conference hotel. However, it was all the little extras that made it special, such as the free tea and coffee and water taps, lots of things to borrow and buy at reception, and beautiful communal spaces. In the main house - an historic building - there were several appealing lounges for less summery weather, and then beautiful outside spaces: my favourite was the chef's garden, where I sat and read every evening, in the most tranquil space. The food was excellent, both breakfast, and the dinner I had on one of the evenings. It was also in a fantastic position for touring around this beautiful area of Denmark, yet only c.40 mins from Copenhagen airport by car.
The chambermaids were trying to clean rooms too early for out of season, so that could be adjusted to suit the holiday season…and them! Also the wet-room style bathroom was a bit impractical, and took some planning, to ensure you didn't soak the entire floor and then slip over whilst trying to clean your teeth etc!

First of all, it is more of an estate than a hotel, with a large garden and plentiful facilities. It is a very beautiful place. The design in the room was very inviting, and dinner and breakfast were really tasty. The staff was very warm and welcoming.
That we had to leave after one night already.

nice location
check out at 0900 is way to early for a accommodation as this. You need to review this or give visitors possibility to check out later.

Beautiful public rooms in the main buildings and location was perfect for my trip. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Rooms were fairly compact and the hotel restaurant didn’t serve food at lunchtime but there were several good restaurants across the road at the harbour.

beautiful location, attractive building, nice breakfast, friendly welcome
a room outside the building - I arrived quite late at night and felt uncomfortable having to go outside in the dark and cold to find my room. also would have liked a water bottle in my room, it was quite basic

Fantastic breakfast with fresh and delicious produce.
Taxi service arranged by reception desk for my wife, mother and Daughter in law used to travel to Louisiana from the hotel. The taxi driver claimed he did know of Louisiana or of its location!! Despite my wife giving directions, he refused to listen which resulted in a long detour. He then refused to take a card for payment and insisted on only cash. They paid 360 dkk instead of there 200dkk quoted by the reception staff. I have phoned the hotel and told then about this incident and to beware of further use of this company. However, this is no complaint whatsoever of the hotel nor their staff, but I would have hoped that the hotel would have used a more reputable taxi company.

The staff is really friendly. It is great to have coffee, tea and snacks at different spots of the hotel. Breakfast is pretty good. Next to Karen Blixen's house and beautiful garden.
The rooms are small, outdated (especially the bathrooms) and not too comfortable. I had a queen-size bed with only one pillow. No socket next to the bed. You can hear everything that is going on in the hallway. Checkout is quite early (9am).

The hotel’s infrastructure and surroundings are amazing- pure tranquility. In the room and in the common areas everything’s well-thought through, elegant and comfortable, it’s very clean. Great outdoor gym with a sea view 🤩

Nice hotel and garden. Good facilities: coffee/tea/water available in the hotel for free. Quiet environment, close to the harbor with lots of restaurants. Good bed and clean bathroom. Very good and delicious breakfast, lots of choice and possibility to have your breakfast outside. Fitness facilities in the garden with view at the sea.
Smooth connection with Copenhagen by train. The railway station is nearby.
Very big hotel, with a lot of rooms, but a bit impersonal.
A bit pricy for the quality you are getting.
Close to the sea, but no possibility to swim because of the jellyfish.

Breakfast was excellent with a beautiful location and view
Internet at my room was spotty and the body soap dispenser should be in the shower or have a small bar of soap available to the guest

Nice location near the sea. Great breakfast and nice staff.
The room was quite worn down, considering the pricing. The bathroom seemed badly cleaned, but the receptionist told us it was just “old”. A bit too expensive for its standard.

my bed specifically, the sheet was very dirty, could tell that it wasn’t newly washed. There was a stain that smell bad..
