The restaurant for dinner is a really nice and the staff is courteous and nice we had a great family dinner
There was construction blocking access to the hotel and nobody care to put instruction so we know how to access through a little street in forest it was a nightmare and construction worker attacke the car when we told them we want access the hotel. One guy wanted to putch me for challenging how to access hotel. Also construction started with noise at 6:20am on a Saturday!!!! Waking up all to go to the shiftiest breakfast I saw!!! We had to ask to get something in small quantity with discussing instant coffee, no eggs, two slice of salami for 3 people…

Very clean and warm. Beds comfy
Modern design unsafe and ridiculous. In trying to be a modern boutique design they have created rooms that are unsafe and ridiculous. Why ---
1) A sharp edged glass shelf right above the fridge and the light switch ensured I cut my head drawing blood.. It was hard to avoid and both my wife and I banged our head on the sharp glass shelf corner after bending to turn the lamp off.
2) To use the toilet or sink you have to walk through the soaking wet shower floor. A ridiculous and impractical design. They stuck the shower before the toilet and the only access is via the wet shower area!
3) Reaching for the light switch in tbe dark bathroom you have to be careful not to put your fingers into the electrical plug socket next to it
Finally - a very impersonal hotel. On arrival, a waiter gave our room key, no welcome, just told us to go outside and in via another door to our room. After injuring my head on tbe glass shelf, I went down to the so called reception to report my injury and concern well before the 10pm time it claims reception is open to on tbe website ---- the place was locked and closed up!. So -- saw no staff other than a dining room staff member on arrival. Also sent message before arrival without even the courtesy of a reply.

Really helpful staff. I needed to have some post delivered and the team at the hotel held it for me for more than a week until I arrived.
The location for me was great, being right next to the Bunter Garten, which is an area I remember very well from childhood.
Only a 10-15 minute walk through the Bunter Garten to the town centre. Parking in the hotel is fairly limited but there are plenty of safe alternatives on the road to the side of the property.

Very quiet place, next to a park. Restaurant with nice terrace, good bar. Friendly staff.
They almost doubled prices due to the Germany Italy football match.
