the rooms are comfortable and the pool on the roof was very nice to cool off and relax. great location half a block from the beach and across from a great park. close to tons of restaurants and boardwalk
the internet did not work well in the room and the second pool was closed( the roof pool was nice and better anyway).

Location and views, refrigerator, pools, internet worked well.

Location was great, quick walk to beach and boardwalk in zona romantica. Room was cool, dark, and quiet.
It would have been so nice if the rooftop pool was open later than 9pm! Tv didn't work but we weren't planning to watch TV anyway, so not a major issue.

Basically a good choice in a great location and this was our second visit because the first was pleasant.
The rooftop area with views and pool is really a big plus.
There was construction going on in several places within the hotel with associated noise and limiting areas. And -although not the fault of the hotel - a nearby building was also undergoing demolition with terrible jackhammer noise that penetrated everywhere.

Near the beach and a cool plaza
No wifi in the room. Poor lighting and lack of outlets to charge devices. Terrible location of the swimming pool.

construction on roof top and pool closed by lobby. Major construction on a new building near by.

the location was excellent.
there was construction going on and the water kept getting turned off. the one pool was closed and roof top pool is tiny and shallow. you cannot swim in it. the first room they put us in was small and had no windows.

Hotel could not find the reservation and when they did they didn’t want to honor the reservation at first because I paid lower than what they told me the room was worth. They also tried to tell me that that size room was not available and if I wanted to stay, I had to pay more money for an upgrade that I did not book. . I waited an hour at least through all of this only after an hour and a half for them to tell me that they won’t take me because of my service dog I gave them her card and all of her paperwork, and all of my ID, I also explain that she was 18 years old now and she doesn’t even leave her stroller or bag, at this point, it was almost 2 in the morning and I needed to check out in the morning which left me no time to sleep and they basically refused to give me any information a managers name and owners name nothing. They left me basically on the street with four suitcases , no help no considerations. They didn’t even care if I slept on the street or if my stuff is stolen they also had someone at reception who didn’t speak English. I needed a translator and had to ask my taxi driver, who thankfully waited for an hour with me because he was afraid that I was gonna be left there alone, which I was I ended up staying up all night with no place to go and too late to book anywhere else.. I think if you work a front desk for visitors, you should probably speak some English. I even had a manager and bartender from the restaurant next-door come to translate they were discussed it at the fact that they were not giving me my room on top of all this. They still wanted me to pay for it. Lol place was incredibly loud, not too safe and they didn’t even help with bags or anything. worst experience ever.

Great location right by the beach in Zona Romantica. There was a nice rooftop patio with a small pool which was nice too. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The rooms need updating. The window looks out into the lobby vs the outside which was fine but meant I kept my curtains closed the whole time. Soundproofing from noises in the lobby could be improved but maybe just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

very central.
they don’t provide a basic hot water kettle.

Simple, cozy, clean, and considerably quiet room in the heart of the Zona Romantica. Just minutes away from the Playa Los Muertos and besides most of the gay bars and restaurants. Worth it the value. The staff is also very attentive and do their best to make everyone welcome and comfortable (extra credit to them for handling rude and aggressive guests so well, especially white Americans boomers, I unfortunately witnessed two different events of them lashing at the workers for doing their job, absolutely despicable and sorry they have to deal with them).
It would be 5 stars if they make WiFi available in the rooms as well. Still guests are able to use the reception's WiFi with good quality)

Our room was cleaned well every day. The pool area is nice with terrific views of the city and coast.
We were required to wear wristbands, as if we were at an all-inclusive. But, our stay included nothing extra. We expected that breakfast was included as it was the last time we stayed. It was not. It is incredibly noisy at night, until about 4-5 in the morning.

Location was excellent - steps from the beach. Many amenities nearby (park across the street with market, wonderful coffee shop/bookstore nearby), Housekeeping staff were great and did clean our room very well. Rooftop terrace was beautiful. AC worked well.
Room was disappointing - sofa "beds" had stained cushions with just a sheet to sleep on, Ants in the bed, shower had mold, a very strong sewage odour was overwhelming from the bathroom but was solved by placing a bowl from the kitchen over top of the shower grate when not in use, loud pipes woke us up in the night, WIFI was intermittent but very unreliable which made it difficult to plan your day or check in for a flight etc. Kitchen was well stocked but there was no dish soap to do dishes. We had to request towels as only one was provided. Some difficulties before we arrived due to the property entering the wrong credit card info. We were expecting a room with a view based on our reservation however were disappointed to be overlooking the internal courtyard which was quite dark. Above issues might be okay if paying regular price (which appears to be reasonable) however due to the holidays we were paying quite a bit more and found the above challenges somewhat frustrating.

I felt misled by this hotel. The room I reserved said clearly “standard room with air conditioning”, and it also said, quite clearly “high floor”, and “view”. Well, I got neither. Interior courtyard view, of nothing. Second floor. Had I known I wouldn’t have book it. I asked for a room change and manager said it was impossible.
I double checked their website, and it clearly shows “standard room with air conditioning”, that they say includes “view” and “high floor”.
Staff were friendly and good however.
See above.

I had most contact with Dora at front desk. Dora is the best. She is always in a good mood and ready to help. She was always ready for a good chat. Dora taught me to say words in Mexican. I think very highly of Dora.
This hotel is going thru renovations. The thing I dislike most about this hotel are the window coverings. They let in too much light. One of the things about being on vacation, is the opportunity for some extra rest. All hotels that I have Stayed in is the window curtains do not block out light. I would like see dark curtains on the windows to block out light. The only hotel that I have stayed in that has taken customers into consideration and hung good curtains is TRU by Hilton.
This hotel is going thru renovation and an excellent time for window curtain upgrade to light blocking curtains.

it’s close to the malecón, it is clean and comfortable.the pool is very nice.
When I asked for another bottle of water, the clerk refused. If I can’t drink the tap water, bottled water should be provided, 1 half liter was not enough for 2 guests.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! and yes, this also means it’s an active and vibrant area with late night bars in the area and early morning Zumba classes right across the street. The rooftop sundeck and small pool and panoramic views of the south side and the south shore was delightful. When we finally got into it, our south-facing spacious suite was worth the upgrade cost, though we did not end up using the kitchen at all during our weeklong stay because restaurants and coffee shops abound within one or two blocks. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and water pressure was much appreciated. Daily maid service was great and the staff were very friendly. We appreciated the ceiling fans and did not use the AC during our stay.
BEWARE: Upon arriving, we did not receive the room we booked. instead, we were put into a similar suite but on the north side of the building, where the view and (dreadful lack of privacy) were dramatically different than what was pictured for this suite on booking.com. (North side view photos included below.) We were told that the rooms were the same and that there is no price difference, and that we could move to the south side of the building three days later (into our eight day vacation). I contacted booking.com about the situation and they in turn contacted the property, who in turn explained the same thing to me: the rooms are the same and there is no price difference. No consideration was offered and instead it became awkward when I was confronted by the manager in the lobby with several staff gathered around. I chose to let it go and was grateful that we weren’t stuck in the room that we didn’t book for our entire vacation. I suggested that they add photos or clarify the differences between rooms/views for future unsuspecting guests. Other than this unfortunate situation, we really liked the property and had a lovely stay and hope to return, and specially request a SOUTH VIEW room.
