Great overnight location and excellent restaurant

Checkin and checkout process was friendly and efficient. Food quality and restaurant staff were excellent. Sliding glass door to the bathroom is not a plus factor.

Lovely stay in beautiful surroundings

The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Our stay was during a heatwave and there was no better feeling than walking into our room to experience a very efficient air conditioning system.

Enjoyed the evening meal and the accommodation was great but the overall experience was not good.

We chose not to have breakfast because of the additional cost. We expected from the price of the accommodation thar it would include breakfast

The overall experience was not good. As a regular guest at this hotel we have never selected a basic "comfy" room as you call it, does not even fit the price of £122 for that room. We immediately upgraded to the room we often tend to book, but had to pay an extra £35.00. We paid for our drinks and meal soon after finishing our meal. We just wanted to pay for what we had and not billed to our room. So on our check out the next day. We were expecting to hand in the room card and receive our invoice of nil balance. But to be told that an outstanding amount to be paid of £109.00. Which could not be explained as to what this amount was for. The receptionist sought help from another colleague. We were now waiting for around 10 minutes or longer. I produced my receipt for payment made for the meal and drinks. This I showed to the receptionist and she took it to show someone else who was not present at reception. She finally returned saying that the amount paid for the meal was not taken off. However, the figures still did not add up from the amount paid was different to what they said was still owing. This was a big blunder on their part without any apology given. From this experience we have decided never to go back to this hotel. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There was not much to celebrate.

was good apart from the paying to use a pool £25 each

the location, cleanliness, staff, room was very nice, food was amazing

I don’t think you should have to pay to use the spa facilities like the pool etc. if you’re paying for a spa hotel they should come with the price. I understand you will have to pay if you want further treatments such as massages etc, but just to use the pool and spa which is what you pay for when booking the room is confusing

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and comfortable.

I liked the size and comfort of the bed. Also Elmis brand.

The the body wash and shampoo should be in different bottles, not as 3in1. The toilet paper holder it’s not comfortable to pick up as is far behind.

The floor in my room was filthy. I didn't enjoy the service at the bar, no one came over to take my order, I had to go up to order my drink, then my food and then to pay despite being told it's table service. The next couple of nights I ordered room service instead. Every time I ordered something, being reminded that gratuities is optional whilst being monitored with what I'm writing. It was all very awkward. I didn't know what I was allowed to do and what I wasn't, ie, using pool facilities etc as reception didn't provide an intro, instead have me my room key and left me to it. Lastly, no fridge in the room. Sorry for the harsh review but it's an honest one that other hotels to your standard have succeeded on. I had high expectations and in hindsight maybe I shouldn't have.

Ideal for a brief visit to rels.

Comfortable and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff with a special mention for Max in the restaurant.

WiFi was appalling. Kept cutting out or moving to 3G. Good WiFi is not a nice to have but an essential. Everything else was good or better.

Fantastic set up, the room was lovely, the toiletries in the room where wonderful the bed was extremely comfortable and the tea and coffee making facilities were perfect.

Nothing it was wonderful the staff are the best at any hotel I've ever stayed at.

Consistently a nice stay

Consistently good service, high standard of rooms and everything is always perfect. I'd like to point out how excellent Rachel is in the restaurant and how rare it is to find someone who genuinely cares and clearly works very hard. It's very refreshing to see, keep hold of her she is what makes that restaurant shine. Hotel is kept to a very high standard, I also appreciate that you upgraded me on my last visit.
