Poor Quality Accomodation

Close to calais ferry stop over.

Room Dirty. Most buffet breakfast gone for half 8. No plates. Food over priced Unable to present an itemised bill prior to payment.

Secure parking, reasonable rooms.

Air con which barely worked (33c outside), a restaurant which only had two main course options. What happened since lockdown and the help yourself deserts and salad bar, those days have gone? Wife noted her clean bare feet in room got dirty walking around. Also, 1 small bathroom towel for a double room now? Will be our last visit, cancelled 2 bookings today and will try another chain.

Be Aware - This Is A Motel Not A Hotel

The staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.

I should have researched this better - it's a motel not a hotel. All rooms open on to an outside walkway with people walking by the room with bags at any hour, so it was not very quiet at times. If you have heavy bags or a disability, you need to book a ground floor room as it is a spiral staircase to the second floor. The car park was gated, but travelling with expensive work items, it didn't feel secure - perhaps I am wrong? Some cars were very badly parked and taking up two spaces, so I had to wait for a space to get close to my room. I think it was over priced given the very basic facilities and I stayed in much better actual hotels for less money on the same trip.

Campanile s usual, silent room, good bed, shower ok.

Well, the Hotel is several years old and not everything works perfect. but I don't complain. I slept well ;-).

Disappointing

Room was not fully made up on arrival. Bathroom had not been cleaned. Used towels, toilet disgusting. Previous visits have been ok.

Good value stop over hotel

Good for a stop on a road trip ! Good that they take pets . Staff friendly :)

Rooms are small and basic . Beds are a little uncomfortable but for the price it was fair and all we needed for a stop over hotel!

Clean and comfortable. Good stop over point with 24 hour human check in, ideal for late travellers

Because of a problem we needed to find a hotel late (23:40!) with 24 hour check in. We were able to book and check in within 45 minutes. Very friendly staff. Rooms are fairly basic, opening onto an external veranda, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. This is a hotel that's gone onto our list of places to stay on our frequent travels up and down the motorway!

Aircon was poor on a hot summer day. Cook was unavailable during our stay so no hot food. Breakfast over priced given what was on offer.

Exceeded all expectations.

Room was spotless and was one of the cleanest smelling rooms I've experienced. Evening meal was abuntant with 5 main courses available plus either starter buffet or desert. The best thing was Gwyneth our waitress who helped us understand the meal permutations, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble, merci bien!!

The bed was comfortable, easy to find and size of room value

The room smelt of smoke and had a very tired look to the room. Hairdryer didn’t work. Not the most pleasant stay.

Staff doesn't speak English, restaurant is managed badly. Room prices are not that cheap, so one would expect a little more than a low budget stay but it was exactly a low budget stay
