The room, the gardens, the library, the location were wonderful.
The breakfast choices were excellent.
The staff, particularly the dining servers. Unprofessional. Perhaps a training issue? They were disorganized and distant.

The staff were very pleasant..
The conservatory was lovely for breakfast
The first bedroom had NO working central heating and we were moved to another warm bedroom.
The second bedroom was a bit shabby and in need of tlc. Chipped paintwork, the chair was threadbare. Shower door allowed water to flow onto the floor. Bathroom shelf was tipped at an angle so glasses looked unsafe.

Lovely venue for a wedding, and the room / lounge areas were very welcoming and cosy.
Served the worst plant based full English I’ve ever had for breakfast. Totally unseasoned scrambled tofu was quite shocking. Not what I’d expect for the price paid.

The hotel is truly stunning, with old world character appointed extremely tastefully. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The room looked beautiful. Very good breakfast in lovely conservatory. The gardens were beautiful and well-maintained, a pleasure to relax in.
The view outside the bedroom window looked onto the roof of the floor below and was unsightly, covered in pipes and cables.

Gardens lovely. Staff great. Bed comfortable
It’s very dated. Our bathroom had black mould in the grout. Shower rail lose. Bath panel had paint chips. Our bedroom definitely needed a complete face lift. Food wasn’t great. 5/10 for food

Breakfast was excellent and the hotel has a very nice ambience too.
Design of the room was a bit disappointing I.e. socket and mirror positions particularly.

All went well and enjoyed our return for our 30th Wedding Anniversary ( which was spend at The Manor House Hotel) Were upgraded to better room and food was as always perfect...
The room was unbearably hot and we tried to adjust the rad but to no avail... Therefore did not enjoy the room and did not sleep well ....

Breakfast was delicious…plenty of choice …the dining in the evening was a limited menu which was surprising as I’m sure I saw a menu for the Brasserie as different to the mulberry restaurant but it wasn’t …
The evening menu …

Lovely location, right in the heart of town. The hotel is in a beautiful old building. The breakfast was good.
The room was very hot and stuffy, despite opening the windows. The bed was very big but not that comfortable, and every time my partner moved the whole thing shook. So I had a terrible night's sleep. 😴🙈

This is our third visit/stay and the hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are comfortable, we’ve stayed in different graded rooms and all are lovely and have what we needed, breakfast is always a joy too
bizarrely the room was too hot! we were staying this winter and although it was in the minus degrees outside, we struggled to cool our room down, both windows were open but facing the main road, we couldn’t keep them open, so we didn’t have the greatest night sleep due to this this year but this is the first problem we’ve encountered in our visits but it didn’t take anything away from our weekend there

The location was great as were all the staff, the hotel itself while being a nice hotel it is very tired looking and the bathrooms need a lot of attention, the bedroom floor every inch of it creaked. The shower was a nightmare and had mouldy marks on the bath
It needs a facelift for £200 a night

We cannot rate highly enough. Beautiful building. So cosy and warm. Our room was lovely. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location with easy access to all the pretty Cotswold villages. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar and conservatory dining room were attractively designed with views of the courtyard garden and there were plenty of quiet corners if needed. Lovely Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. Comfortable bedroom, if a little small. Added bonus of free parking.
Our bathroom was rather on the small and narrow size and it could do with an upgrade. it would have been more convenient to have a walk in shower in the bathroom, rather than struggle in and out of the bath for a shower.

Thanks to all the staff. They were so helpful.
