The room was quiet, spacious and clean, a little dated, but the beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal for visiting Minsmere, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. Best of all was professional service and the high quality of food in the restaurant. Gluten free no problem and all the staff were aware - thank you. We very much enjoyed the breakfasts - lots of choice and superbly cooked. We have stayed before and will certainly return again.
The television in our room didn't work, but we didn't report this to reception as after busy days out we were too tired to watch it!

We had a medical emergency while staying at the hotel, Paul, the Night Porter, was incredibly helpful whilst waiting for an ambulance, keeping in touch while we were in A&E, and arranging for us to have a late check out so we could get some sleep when we got back to the hotel. The Manager on duty when we got back to hotel, sorry didn’t get her name, again was very helpful and arranged for some breakfast and coffee which was very badly needed.

Food excellent, location excellent, bedrooms clean tidy had all you needed. Enjoyed all the local walks.
Great facilities but Building is tired and needs to be refurbished but keeping within its character stunning views though and well kept golf courses.

Beautiful large room, bed very comfortable. Shower room was great too. Nice and warm.
Breakfast room was bright and airy, looking onto the golf course.
Staff were very well organised and friendly.
Attended a wedding at the Country club whilst there - had a medical issue and between the club and hotel they escorted me to my hotel room and back to the venue. A special thank you to Jenny, Manager, who observed me leaving the wedding at night and drove me back to the hotel again.

Clean room good food.
Just one comment the shower screen I thought was not wide enough so the water goes over the bath and on floor. I'm not complaining just advising.

Fabulous golf course, very friendly staff in golf pro shop. Very dog friendly, was allowed to walk dog all rpund course. Outstanding food and great to have access to restaurant menu in the dog friendly bar.
Pillows on bed very flat and uncomfortable. Disappointed in communication from staff as friend had put £30 behind the bar for drinks/food and we weren't told until we had already ordered and paid.

We weren’t happy with the first room allocated as the exterior door was warped and did not close. However, the lady in charge of room allocation immediately arranged for a different room and even upgraded us, which was very kind of her.
The upgraded room was actually much too hot, so we had to waste energy by opening the windows. However, we did turn the thermostats down which made it more comfortable, especially for sleeping.
