Easy to find and adjacent free parking. Friendly welcoming staff.

Disappointed when we asked about breakfast, were told that renovations were being done so not available, therefore we had to find somewhere . Room door surround broken, see picture. Light had cobwebs on and masses of dust or mold, see picture. Radiators had no valve so constantly on making the room heat unbearable, had to open window all night meaning that we heard everything outside, not much sleep. Overall disgusting property, obviously will not be staying there again.

Nice friendly welcome, spacious room and bathroom, comfy bed, good size hot shower. Room clean and welcoming, plenty of hot drink making facilities, really good sized towels, all very welcome after a week at Glastonbury!
Nothing.
3.3
Nice location, good amount of parking and the staff were exceptionally nice, especially Sarah. The room itself was perfect, all I needed for one night!
3.3
Staff are excellent, room was clean and comfortable so from this point of view they did well.
No breakfast is available and no evening meals, the latter was not such a problem but no breakfast was poor as the website states breakfast is available. I travel for business purposes so have a room allowance for food and sundries which I always, at every other location, use within the establishment. I can claim my expenses back but that involves such a faff that it's a pain.

Lived up to an old English pub. Was clean and tidy. Nice to be able to have a drink and climb the stairs to bed
Nothing
3.3
Room adequate but no food served on the premises. Cafes and takeaways close by though. Welcoming pub on main road so convenient.
3.3
Internet good. Bed comfortable.
Very loud traffic noise kept me awake. Room not particularly clean. Shower not particularly clean. Toilet seat broken.
3.3
it’s location
I was in a bedroom at the front and the road noise was a bit of an issue
3.3
Room was basic but lovely and large . Really comfortable bed .
Draught beer was not good very flat . Didn't see anyone when leaving in the morning
3.3
Good staff and location
Expensive for the condition of room (damp, decor, bedding).
3.3
Friendly staff
Could do with a little tlc
But ovetall great value for money and clean
Would stay again
3.3
the toilet smells like a public toilet, the walls are cracked, the window in room 10 doesn't close well and you can hear all the noise from outside, the stairs smell horrible! Zero conditions for that price
3.3
Room was nice and warm,
Every thing i needed
Everything was straight forward no complications
nothing
3.3
Room to hot and too noisy. so i went home as I wanted to have some sleep- something I was trying to avoid!
3.3
The room (room 1) was absolutely huge, seriously massive...there was a 4 poster bed, I don't know the size classification but put it this way 3 pillows could easily fit side by side instead of 2 like on a normal bed and there was a sofa, large TV and another seating area ..like I said huge!!
The room is dated and in need of some TLC but it was clean and tidy and amazing for price £63 via Booking.com couple of weeks in advance.
People have to have reasonable expectations for the price, that size room in another hotel in Bristol would be £150+ if it was done up.
It didn't bother us because neither myself or my husband are light sleepers but feel I have to mention for those who are ...because it is above a pub you can hear the music but honestly it wasn't bad, would only upset extremely light sleepers in my opinion. Also it was a Saturday we stayed, probably quieter on weekdays.

convenient location

Took us a while before served
Very very noisy and window did not close properly so did not get a wink of sleep as people outside of pub shouting etc
Road very busy and noisy
Was running bath half marathon next day aswell
The light in hall was on all night and shone through doors
3.3
Check in staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and well supplied with towels, soaps etc.
The location is noisy, so the hotel room is noisy at night, but still supportable.
3.3
Location
We had noisy neighbours, and the walls are thin!
3.3
Shabby, dated bathroom.
3.3
Town centre location and old single glazed windows made it a bit noisy which doesnt bother me at all but probably would others. Clean and a good attempt at modernisation, gorgeous architecture for history lovers.
I think for the money everything was about right
3.3
Location was near Bath and great for the park and ride. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel could do with a little redecoration, no food on a Saturday night but there is a great Italian a few minutes walk down the road. Hotel was clean but tired looking.
3.3
The room; absolutely huge and spotless with 4-poster bed. Great food
scruffy outside appearance
3.3
The staff were friendly, the bed was comfy, the towels were very soft and white
The room had a terrible smell, there was no where to sit, the windows were single-glazed so the noise from the drinkers outside and the traffic interfered with sleep and breakfast was only available on one morning
3.3
The luxury of space plus comfy bed
Some food available, as advertised. It wasn’t a major problem though
3.3
Great location for us, free parking & friendly staff
The rooms need refurbishment, but it was still ok
3.3
