I like most is the buffet breakfast, so many options to fill the plate. The location it very good. Very near the big mall Robinsons Malate, near some landmarks like Rizal Park, and US Embassy. The staff and the security personeel are very helpful and kind. There are also bars nearby for those who like nightlife.
The room is small, and outdated. I don’t mind it, but if they will consider to upgrade them, I will give 10 stars. The reception asked me to have 1,000 pesos deposit even I paid my stay via my credit card when I reserved online. It’s refundable, I refunded when I checked out. I still don’t know what is that for. In all, I love to stay here again.

Good location and room is basic but ok, no top sheet just a blanket but that was ok! All was good, breakfast was a decent spread including omelet and hot foods, fruit and coffee toast etc.
Reception staff were a little terse upon arrival, but they were busy and asked for a small room deposit?? Well ok if I must? - but upon checkout they tried to charge 500P for a stained pillowcase which I think was just a scam, and was disappointing. When I asked to see the stains they backed off and suddenly no problem!

Location is great for our travel. Food is okay Cappuccino Coffee should free. Increase drinking water supply due to the weather in Manila at that time.
The view from the hotel room has to be improve.

The best part of staying at Manila Lotus Hotel is the buffet breakfast. Every morning there are a variety of Filipino breakfast items and more tourist options such as pancakes. They offered cooked to order eggs/ omelettes, fresh fruits, salad, rice and garlic rice, and a variety of sausages, potatoes, and fish. It's a great way to start the day before heading out into the busy city. Also, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Taxi's are always available if you let the doorman know. They have safes at the front desk for the guests, not in your room. The location is walking distance to Rizal Park, Museums, Intramuros, and Univ. of Philippines. There's lots of interesting streets to explore in Ermita.
If you don't want to look out your window to a brick wall or dirty service area, be sure to book a room with a view. I thought I had booked a view (I know that is important to me) but when I arrived I was given an interior room whose window looked out onto a dirty space between the buildings. I asked to change rooms but no room was ever available to change to. Without any sky I found this made the room seem oppressive. The overall condition of the room was clean, but in need of updating. I didn't have much time to be in the room so I was able to accept it. If the only rooms with windows and sky are those facing Mabini Street, it might be very noisy with the crazy street traffic and nightlife around Ermita.

Manila Lotus Hotel is a stone's throw away from St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic, the US Embassy, and some tourist sites. It had different daily buffet breakfast menus the whole time I was there, and I was always full. Also, the staff was accommodating and polite. They even gladly lent me an umbrella.
I had only a few negative experiences:
1. The bathroom sink drained slowly.
2. It took a while to heat up the shower.
3. The Wi-Fi connection was so spotty that I got disconnected several times.
Other than the said comments, I'd still recommend this hotel to others.

Pleasantly surprised by this gem. Wasn't expecting too much from the place but was sure glad it delivered more than we thought it would.
It was walking distance from Jazzela Music Lounge, our main trip in the area. The room we had was spacious for its price. It was well-lighted and presentable. Can get a little cleaner, but overall all it was already good.
The bathroom is the highlight for me. It was very clean: the mirrors clear, the tiles almost sparkling, the shampoo and shower gel containers were generously filled. Best bathroom among three-star hotels we've stayed in.
Not a big deal, but the piano on the lobby can use some tuning. Some keys won't sound off anymore.

Accessible to my appointment.
There is no safe box. No room slipper.

Location
Very old noisy aircon.

The hotel is accessible to lots of restaurants. The security guards are nice.
-Actual room did not look like the ones in the picture.
-Slippers was part of the amenities included but they did not provide it due to COVID. Not sure what this meant but surely other hotels are providing slippers to their guests.
-Corridors looked creepy.
-We booked our stay with breakfast included but they did not offer an alternative packed breakfast since we had to check out pretty early (7:30am)

Manila lotus is a very nice hotel. Located 3 k from Intramuros and central Manila. 5 mins walk from the US embassy. It has to be reminded this is a 3 star hotel. All functions work hot water air conditioning and toilet facilities. I had no issues with the room in fact my sons friend came to stay with us unexpectedly and it was no issue we paid a small fee and they upgraded us to a bigger room. The breakfast was great they catered for local Asian food and American breakfast and it was very plentiful. For the price I would thoroughly recommend Manila lotus and we will be going back next week for a few days at the end of our trip. Lastly I have to say the staff are brilliant they were extremely attentive and very welcoming. A big shout out to Roxy, Jes and Neil who helped us with guides, suggestions and answered all our questions and overall made our stay very enjoyable!
Everything was great

Room was a little to small

Staff is good, helpful, modest but nice breakfasts
The room wasn't clear at the very beginning, and then I realized why - cleaners have never showed up during my 3 days stay. May be you should ask it on purpose. Was fined 1000! pesos for putting my wet trousers on the blanket and having stains on it (other hotels charge 300-500 pesos and inform you about it in advance)

excellent buffet breakfasr
charged too much for early checkin. and breakfast was not included in early checkin

Room is good and feels clean., thanks for granting request to have window. Cold aircon, warm bath. Early checkin. The restaurant staff are cool guys. This hotel really has potential to be better.
First come first serve parking. Because of a street asphalt rehab they wiill wake you up by 11:30pm to move your car.. you're on your own.. Noise level from jeeps and trucks can be heard from 3rd floor. I can overlook all this but yeah, the guy behind the phone sounded impolite and seems does not care (1pm to 2pm, March 16, 2023)
