Comfortable and friendly and in a great location. Would stay again and would recommend so long as the bed configuration

Friendly welcome and helpful staff who sorted us a second night at short notice when we realised we’d made a mistake with our dates. Clean accommodation, very well positioned for town centre and restaurants.

Surprised to find a queen bed in the lounge area rather than a pulldown or sofa bed. It was comfortable but meant that we had to sit on the bed or at the dining table as a group which wasn’t ideal.

Great Value for money in a comfortable well appointed hotel in a quiet yet prime location

Great staff and a great sized room with good temperature control. The bathroom was enormous and had a spa bath and there was parking outside the door. A short easy walk into town made for a perfect stay. The price was brilliant, great value for money unlike most places nowadays. Look forward to staying here again!

Turning a big car in the carpark could be an issue but personally there wasn't a thing we didnt like.

Well worth the money

Best Motor lodge we have stayed at. Not only was it quiet which is something a lot of motor lodges fail to be. But it also had the best coffee I’ve managed to find since we started travelling from Auckland. The spar bath was just brilliant. Had a few such spar baths over the previous 3 weeks and this was hands down the best. Parking was good. Distance to centre and shops was a short walk. Staff were great. Very much worth staying here. Just make sure you get the spar bath room :)

Great place to stay visiting Nelson city

Friendly and helpful proprietors. Great location for walking into the city centre ( we would take the side streets through Examiner street to avoid the main road)

We felt very welcome the moment we drove in. Dean and Tomoko were the loviest of hosts. The room was very clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Walking distance to town.

Highly recommend, would definitely stay again

Lovely, friendly staff, Dean even checked what we were doing for dinner and gave some recommendations. Excellent location and lovely rooms. Portacot kindly already set up for us.

There was nothing we did not like, except maybe that we were only staying 1 night!

Very comfortable bed and the owners could not have been more helpful. The central location was good.

There is not enough cupboard / storage space in the room. The single cupboard was taken up by spare blankets, ironing board, suitcase rack and 3 hangers. We were there for four nights. The tv needs replacing. The shower is tiny.

Comfortable and scrupulously clean accommodation just a short walk from the centre of Nelson

A very comfortable accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Easy parking and just a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Nelson. It's situated near several garages selling cars - so the views from the rooms aren't amazing, but we we were more interested in using it as a base to explore the city and it was perfect for that. Dean and Timoko - the hosts - were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
