great staff, fantastic interior
I was with my 80+ year old father: you have to climb about 50 steps.

the room is so big and cool!
it is literally staying in the palace!
and the breakfast is so good! I don’t understand why the rate is so low😭
we had coffee, fresh juice, breads, croissants, pastries, hams, fruits and even fresh fry eggs!
the breakfast is more then prefect ❤️
noting!

The place looked like a palace
The fridge in the room did not work and no ironing facility. However the launderette, pressed my shirt or 3 Euros.

Good location
The hotel is somewhat falling apart. In our room the once upon a time beautiful ceiling had huge water damage and holes and looked like it was going to crumble down any moment. It didn't feel very comfortable to stay there.

Just perfect. The place itself is full of history, charme and you really feel like you're staying in a family house. Aniello, the owner, is a wonderful person: kind, helping and welcoming. He'll be pleased to play the piano for you, to share his stories and anecdotes. The only thing I regret is that I couldn't stay longer.

Great location with exceptional restaurant just downstairs, historical interior design with original details and furniture, great atmosphere and welcoming and very friendly staff.
Should be ready for parking difficulties and carrying luggage upstairs, but it was not a problem for us.

Old fashioned design which is very unique. A wonderful bath/jacuzzi, and a private terrace! Amazing value for money.
There is no shower, only bath. And the tap drips a bit, but I didn't hear it when the bathroom door was closed.

Great location, pretty room and facilities, nice setup.
It was a bit cold. The bed was on the hard side. Squeaky pipes.

The remaining of the late 18 century charm. This place was recommended to us by an Italian friend as "hôtel avec charme".
The view from the room was quite nice, and the terrace. The staff was helpful. The room, number one, was excellet as such, but unfortunatel not sound proof. see next section.
It should be made clear, that this is a facility situated at the second floor of a very old building. There is no lift. The entrance to the building is not welcoming. Is unwelcoming.
The room in which we stayed, no 1, should be carefully avoided. Behind a thin door, there is the reception, and the main entrance door. Behind the wall, here is a kitchen. You can hear everything which happens there.
Moreover, this building is situated at a pedestrian street. When you arrive by car, you can park in a parking house belonging to another hotel nearby. It should be clearly explained in advance, including a detailer way description, to avoid stress.

the location is very good, right next to the beach. the staff was helpfull and very nice.
the room, the design and the pictures in the room are not antique but bit creepy. i can understand the concept, still not for us. they said us there was a sea view but the balcony was looking at the parking lot, and after that you can see little bit of sea far away.

Conveniently located for beach and sightseeing of Amalfian coast and beautiful rooms in an old historic house with original decorum and painted walls.
Sound proofing could be better.

We loved the luxurious old world decor with modern amenities as well as the friendliness of the staff. Eleanora and Alfonso were very helpful and treated us like family.
An elevator to this third floor hotel would be nice but not necessary.

Character. Charm. Great location beside fantastic restaurants. Possibly one of the nicest hotels we'd ever stayed in.
Nothing.
