Location was perfect, beautiful terrace with great view, staff was really friendly
Really old rooms, our room was not clean at all (massive spider web in the bathroom), not very comfortable beds, really tiny bathroom

Top Zustand und sehr ruhig
Alles bestens

The swimming pool and steam bath. The area outside. The position and view. Basically all common areas. Plus the friendly staff.
The room and bathroom are outdated and stuffy. It doesn't help a good night's sleep. They clash with the hotel's common areas, which are excellent.

The location of the hotel is amazing. Overlooking the lake on one side and the mountains on the other and sitting on top of the village, it is the perfect place for taking in views. The restaurant is particularly great for taking in the sunset. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous!
The furniture and facilities in the hotel could really use an update. The rooms felt a bit dated, and the bed could really use more pillows. The room felt a little hot even with the window open.

The location is epic, breathtaking, heavenly, superb and out of this world. Staff is really friendly and always willing to help. Check in and out is really smooth. Pool and sauna are nice, especially after a long day to relax.
Well, the hotel is really outdated. Everything is from the 70's and there has been some updates here and there but it doesn't cover up that it is old. The bathroom especially: very old sink and an old fashion tap. It really needs to be remodeled completely to be able to justify the price per night. Although I was aware that Switzerland is expensive: the restaurant is also very expensive. Food is good but for a steak you pay around 50 euros.

Magnificent setting (the photographs on Booking.com don’t do it justice). Extremely comfortable rooms. Very welcoming of our dog.
Nothing.

The location, wellness, service, and food were good.
The terrace has such a great view! Sunsets are just unforgettable.

The location of the hotel is stunning. The views are breathtaking. Restaurant was expensive but the food was delicious. They were very welcoming. Even provided a bed and toy for our dog! I wish we could have stayed longer.
The rooms were a bit shabby. Decor could do with an update. It was the only disappointing part of the hotel.

View is amazing. Location is good if you want a central base point. Staff are super nice and helpful.
There is no fridge in the room, no kettle, no AC.

the property was beautiful
the views were spectacular
you can walk to bus stop down the
hill to go into Lucerne proper
and when back
the hotel will pick you up promptly
the restaurant manager was not
friendly
the food was good but mediocre
at times and over priced
I suggest you try the restaurants
right down the hill
in the village
you can walk down in ten minutes
and call the hotel for a ride back
the breakfast buffet was very good
and worth the price

Basic room with no normal extras such as coffee making facilities but beds were very comfortable.
Stunning views around the hotel.
The hotel was very busy with events so there was no parking nearby- had to park on a road a 10 min walk away. Service was slow but staff were friendly and helpful.

The only critic is that the room was really old.

Excellent location between mountains and Lake. Wonderful diner and rich Breakfast.
A tea kettle for coffee and tea will be better to have in the room especially in the winter times

Very cosy hotel with a stunning view on the Lucern lake. We were traveling back to Belgium by car and stopped by this hotel overnight. It's very easy to reach from the A2 and it's exciting to drive uphill to unfold the gorgeous landscape surrounding the hotel. We travelled with our dog and it was lovely to find a welcome kit for her as well (bowl of water, toy and sleeping basket). We had dinner at their restaurant and it was very tasty, with different local options and very professionally served.
There's plenty of parking space outside.
It was all lovely, maybe it'd be useful to have more toiletries as we only had some shower gel in dispensers in the shower and sink (no shampoo or body cream).

There are two buildings. The rooms are too small in both buildings. The bathrooms are too small: basically an MDF panel separating a small part of an already small room. The interior of the rooms is run down in both buildings, with the situation being worse in the Waldhaus building. The showers and toilet flashes work well, but the toilet ventilators are noisy. Most rooms do not have an interesting view. The food is good, but very expensive. The pool is rather small and gets crowded. The spa facilities are OK. The hotel seems to be more focused on office seminars and group gatherings. The public toilets are kept clean.
The water basin in the bathroom was so small that I could hardly wash my hands. The double bed was too narrow. The pillows were large and soft in the middle.

We loved the view and the dinner.
The beds could be better, but oké.

Nice and very quiet location with hiking and biking facilities around. Friendly and professional staff at reception, dinner menu was good value for money. Nice indoor swimming pool and terrace with deck chairs.
Spa is very small (only turkish bath and a small resting room). Turkish bath works fine, but needs some renovation. Breakfast buffet offers good choice, but overall quality of food could be better (mediocre bread, individually packaged industrial jams, strange scrambled egg). Bathroom was tiny but functional, double bed a bit small.
