Perfect location, comfortable also. There was a girl in front desk (night shift) which helped us for any questions we had. They stayed almost 1hr to solve how to go to Great Wall of China since we had only entrance ticket. Super helpful. Thank you girls!

Friendly English speaking service. Possibility to take advantage of trips organized from the hotel (good prices and good organization). Breakfasts ok nice was that when we left the hotel early in the morning and could not use breakfast we got sandwiches. Great location for visiting the city.
The rooms need some refreshment, especially the bathroom could use some renovation.

The hotel is very nice, very clean, the people that work there are super friendly, reliable, helpful, speak very good English (which is hard in China).
Because of the Coronavirus, they had to change us several times from hotel. But they always were nice and all the changes were for best. Really amazing team.

The room was big and we had enough space to open all of our suitcases and have stuff around without an issue. The bathroom was working correctly, and the beds were comfortable.
I think it probably has old pipes, but there was an intense smell in the room, which was even more notable in the bathroom and when using the sink. It needs airing but we couldn´t open the window, so we opened the bathroom's window and closed the door.

Everyone wanted to help me given I spoke and still speak very little Chinese. The location is great and two of the staff in particular we a stand out. A young guy and young girl. All the other staff were friendly. I needed to change room as the shower didn't drain. However when they changed my room I was checked out of the hotel. Someone forgot to check me back into the hotel under my new room with the police. This made for an awkward encounter at the police station when I needed to register on moving into my own apartment. Human error, however it did cost me time and raise my anxiety levels slightly when the police officer asked where I had been for the last few days (China law, check in with police within 24hrs of changing accommodation).

Hotel is value for money.
It is not fancy, but it is affordable, reasonably spacious and the staff spoke English, which IS success in China.
Location is good if you are taking taxi all the time.
Most of the reviews praise location, but if you are taking subway it is not that good, because the station is really close, but on a bad line - anywhere you go you will need to take at least 3 lines, which means changing a lot of lines which is time consuming. If you are going to Tiananmen square, you will need almost an hour with subway, because you need to change 4 lines.

The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro station (TIan Qiao) - while this is a little bit of a pain to get to from the Airport, on the return we got the local bus from around the corner that goes to Dongzhimen and costs around 80p and took less time than the train would have. There are a number of fast food chains near by, and its only a short walk to the Temple of Heaven.
The room was a little dated, with tears in carpet and generally needing an update. But for the price you pay, you can't complain. The only real issue was the height of the shower. Being 6ft1, the showers seemed aimed more towards the height of much smaller people, and it couldn't be adjusted any higher which made for a difficult shower.

The room had basically all the comfort and standard of a 3 stars hotel, nothing dodgy was hidden
I really liked to speak with the staff, unfortunately I don’t remember the name but the receptionist who checked us in was really friendly and gave us all informations needed about the city
And the receptionist during the night was really lovely and friendly, he was doing his best to speak with us in English so I would put 5 stars for your staff because they were all really good !
Maybe the common problems in China, poor WiFi connection, strange colour of water coming from the tap, also it’s not related to the property but I do not recommend to visit Beijing in winter as the pollution and the cold can be painful for your noise throat ect
