Viel Kuchen. Kein gutes Brot. Leider nur hartgekochte Eier.

The staff were nice.
This hotel was built in 1908, so I was expecting it to be charming & interesting. Not much has changed since 1908, including the furniture. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The hotel is dated & tired & in need of extensive restoration. The handle was broken & falling off the door to our room. You could hear conversations of other guests in their rooms. The breakfast was pretty poor too.
4.1
polite staff, check in earlier, free parking, good breakfast
Little dated

Fantastic location and a beautiful room, just a short stroll to town through the park. Wonderful view from front verandah, warm welcome and helpful suggestions from staff who even booked us dinner at a good seafood restaurant with front row view of feastnight fireworks. A great breakfast, lovely lounge with couches for reading/relaxing.
Liked it all.

Good location, lovely rooms, very good breakfast, staff very helpful a real gem of a hotel

Excellent location, very close to the center of Rapallo. Charming old palace that was converted to a hotel. Very helpful staff, especially Giuliana and Angela, who went out of their way and beyond to help us with our problem with our rented car. They are amazing girls, we could not resolve our car problem without them. Thank you Giuliana and Angela from the bottom of our hearts. Also thanks to the charming and nice lady Paola, who was working the second day. We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much and the breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing, everything was very good

Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. We had two rooms adjoining (two adults and two children) which I wasn’t expecting but which was very welcome. The hotel is 10mins from town and opposite a lovely park.
Doesn’t have its own parking so we weren’t sure where to park and there was no space to pull up outside. However the owner directed us to somewhere suitable and we moved the car.

Very clean. Big rooms. Friendly owner. Very good breakfast.
The some things in the hotel needs renovation. However the building is impressive.
4.1
Friendly and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast. We all slept well and found the room to be clean.
The decor and facilities in the room need some updating and attention. There were one or two maintenance issues such as light fittings coming loose, or just not working, the toilet sistern continually running etc.
The hotel's location and period features mean it has the potential to be a wonderful place to stay - some upgrading of rooms is required though, as the ambience was disappointing.

Given a room with 2 bedrooms after requesting ground floor. Very happy and great beds. Also had a mini fridge. Great breakfast in lovely dining room.
No English tv and shower very small. Parked in driveway and some difficulty backing on to road

happy staff. reasonable rates. good breakfast. charming old hotel.
parking was 100 meters away which could be a problem. steps up from road and lots of stairs to room, no lift.

the style of the hotel was a real villa
no any

Our room was spacious and comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. The receptionist was particularly nice, she helped us a lot with getting around in the area, reserving beach chairs for our day off, and recommending where to eat.
There is no elevator so after you walk up the steep stairs to get to the reception desk, you then have to walk up to your room, lugging your bags all the way! There is very little parking in the area.

Very friendly helpful welcome & gave us great restaurant recommendations
Nothing

Beautiful facade. Good air conditioning.
Awful lot of steps to literally carry your suitcases (lifting them up at each step). Bathrooms, closets and furniture need renovation.

An ideal location, with an easy walk to town through the park, also down to the beach along a quiet path. The young lady on reception was extremely helpful, always willing to give advice & assistance. A lovely bedroom with good facilities & open views & an ample breakfast.
Limited parking spaces.

not what we expected, bad parking option. very old and used hotel, dirty and not very safe.

Good value for money, nice property and parking available.
Location very good.
Our room was very spacious and could easily accommodate 4
Good breakfast.
No elevator in the hotel and the shower in our room needs renovation

needed some repair here and there.

Absolutely charming old villa from 1908 with great views from the central balcony (above the main entrance). Very helpful and friendly stuff. Breakfast is awesome.

The villa itself is very charming and gives you the right feel of Rapallo and its surroundings. The room was idyllic. The beds very comfortable and room had a pleasant temperature. The balcony was lovely. Although the villa is located on a main street it was dead quiet in the nighttime.
Although the bathroom was well equipped it is very small.
The breakfast was OK, however, the coffee was literally undrinkable. I do not understand how anyone could serve this. We noticed the not only we, but also other guests left their coffee.

The position is near the city center.
The room was big.
Very clean.

- Beautiful property from outside and great location.
- The staff is extremely friendly and communication was perfect.
Sadly, it needs a lot of TLC:
- the common bathroom is an old bathroom that needs to be fully refurbished.
- the room is decent size but the decoration is a complete non sense. Paintings from Monet, showing Les Deux-Sèvres and other things that don't relate to Rapallo. Nore they are placed on the wall on the same level. They are there just to say "there is something on the wall".
- I booked a triple room. For them, it's a double bed and a single bed they added at the right in front of the foot board of the double bed, uncomfy, with unadapted bed linen, such as the flat sheet they as fitted sheet, that crumples in the middle of the bed when toss and turn at night.
- All doors are squeeky.
- When someone comes back at night, you can hear everything in the corridor and you know how people are unrespectful of others... They talk loud and you can hear everything.
- The bathroom is just like the common bathroom: needs of TLC, new fixtures, and it's all dated. A bidet that is stuck in a place where you cannot possibly use it. No glasses on the sink. The shower head mixer needs a good fix too and maybe should have a look at the drain because there was such a back up that the shower stall became a swimming pool. I don't want to know what's in the drain!!!
- Breakfast is decent but TERRIBLE coffee and orange juice.

Very nice staff, well located, very clean rooms

The hotel stay is an experience on its own due to its history. The room balcony was trully amazing especially for a late wine glass. The staff are very helpful and took necessary covid measures for the breakfast and made sure to help us on where to park our car. The location is close to commute if you have a car in order to visit all towns starting in portofino.
The facility is old and requires maintenance in genral especially the bathroom.

Great breakfast, tasty orange juice.
Small bathroom.

Great stay. The only thing was the parking, not very easy to finde a place close by.

Very good value hotel, with exceptionally kind and nice Staff
