Beautifully restored guesthouse, full of character and set in the gorgeous mountain village of Dimitsana. Our hosts, Ilyas and Katherine were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and absolutely delicious. Would love to return in the future.

The breakfast was amazing! The room was so beautiful. The hosts were really nice.

The location was superb- right in the centre of the village. The guest house was full of character reflecting its rich history. The breakfasts at Kazakou are the best in Greece, with ample left overs for a tasty picnic.

Lovely place! The room was big and comfy, location was great. The breakfast was amazing lots of food and variety and they even helped us wrap some food for a lunch picnic! Highly recommended !

Characterful place at the top of the village, with very hospitable host and incredible spread for breakfast.
Probably not ideal if you have a lot of luggage as the lanes are so tiny you can’t park outside! But that’s part of the fun :)

Great location. We had a large room which was very comfortable. The breakfast was very hearty. We stayed for 3 nights and each morning there was a different savoury and sweet fresh baked option. We were given fresh fruit to take on our hikes each day. The owners could not have been kinder. They organized a taxi to Stemnista so that we could hike back to Dimitsana.
Nothing. There was no problem with church bells waking us up.

The hosts pulled out all the stops to be helpful and generous. The guesthouse felt like it gave an experience of a Greek family home. Breakfast was different each day with traditional local food offerings. We really appreciated this.
I would prefer a less hard mattress.

Beautifully home cooked, plentiful and hearty breakfast prepared and served by the two lovely hosts
The church steeple is a few yards away, when the bells toll they're practically in the room.

The breakfast was incredible, with lots of Greek specalties ..

The location of entire Dimitsana village in Lousios canyon is amazing, vast majority of buildings is well preserved. The streets are narrow, not suitable for large cars and a lot of traffic, but thanks to this it is pedestrian friendly, but you have to be prepared to walk many stairs.
Kazakou guesthouse itself is about 200 years old stone house, beautifully renovated for the purposes of modern day traveller. When we visited in mid March, it was quite chilly outside, but our cozy room was worm. In the morning we very given large home-made hearty breakfest..
We liked everything and it was perfect for us, but if you are disabled traveller, you may struggle with number of stairs and the distance from car park.

The owners were really great hosts, loved staying with them. The incredibly luxurious breakfast was a nice surprise, for just a small additional fee. Also, there are some small details in the room that were very nice, such as bathrobes, mouth masks, local liquor and water in the fridge :)
The bed was a bit hard for our liking.

Great location, minutes from center. Warm and friendly room. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh and very rich in tastes and variety. Ilias and Catharine are a warm and supporting couple - assisted us in planning our next day. Loved this unique place, reminded us of cosy guesthouses in our trips in far east Asia. Thanks

We loved the location in the middle of Dimitsana and the amazing breakfast which was enough for lunch too.
No a/c in rooms (although it was unseasonably hot for the mountains in August)…

İlyas and Kararına have been amazing hosts. They've been so kind and helpful and Katarina prepared us a huge and delicious breakfast every morning. We got an upgrade of our room from the start. The guesthouse is so pretty, we wish we could have stayed longer.
