Maintenance was really poor. No cleaning. Staff doesn’t know what to do

The resort has beautiful park. The management and the staff were helpful and very friendly. The view from our bure was exceptional. All in all a very lovely place to stay.
No complaint at all.

Incredible location. Tranquil environment. Picturesque sunset. Palm trees, huts, flowers, greenary, pool, beach, snorkelling, cafe, food, drinks...Ed and Team run the place like family and it is evident in everyone coming together to provide the experience to guests, from back of house staff to front of house.
The waterfall day out experience was magnificent.
They could put the fire on every night as that adds wonders to guests experience.

Beautiful outlook, great staff, beautiful gardens. Fridge & jug in room.
Chef/staff were helpful with gluten free food options.
Quiet & secluded resort.
The shower wouldn’t stay hot - although the owner did endeavour to fix it. The ants also came to shower with us lol.
The bed had a spring mattress which wasn’t comfortable.
The restaurant table & chairs were the only place to sit if it was cold & raining - it would have been good to have couches etc to relax. We had a basic garden room far back so didn’t want to spend much time in there. I’m sure the oceanview rooms would have been great.
The resort is lovely but could do with some renovations.
Simple things/small touches could enhance the property a lot.
Breakfast buffet was very limited.
The sea is very tidal so only have a limited time to snorkel/kayak etc.

We were warmly greeted by reception staff when we arrived who allowed us to check in early.
As we walked to our beachfront bure, we were stunned by the paradise that is Mango Bay.
There were plenty of activities, such as paddleboarding (Pablo the dog even came out with me!), snorkelling (plenty of tropical fish to see and well protected coral reefs and a perfectly positioned swimming pool.
The staff at the bar and restaurant were lovely and served up some delicious cocktails and local cuisine.
On our last evening there was a live band that were amazing
We couldn't stay longer as we were on a tight schedule

The people were amazing. Great spot for the family. Awesome value for your money. True Fiji vibe. Laid back and not a rip-off. Loved it!
Could use a little up- keep, but it was part of the charm!

My wife and I travelled to Fiji in search of a relaxing beachside vacation. The Mango Bay Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is incredible, the photos don’t do it justice. You can stay in a room with a view of crystal clear water. We went snorkelling and kayaking and wanted to stay in the water forever. The restaurant has a rotating menu of delicious food. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. There is no doubt in my mind that we will come back as soon as we can.
Leaving.

Food was unreal. So good - this chef is a master. Every meal was outstanding.
Of course nothing is perfect. But we didn't want perfect - we wanted what we got. So I will not comment on anything as needing improvement.

The staff were great in unfortunate circumstances, as were the other guests only 6 of them read below.
The management and their policies were a rip off and didn't allow good customer service. The food, drinks, accommodation and transport fee were misrepresented and a rip off. I felt especially ripped off by the transport fee, very angry. Prices at the bar were not the prices on the final bill, those were much higher. It was not a mistake as other guest experienced this also. Night lights and bathroom water were turned off so you couldn't flush during the night. Toilet rolls were locked away so the maid had to ask to replenish them. The owners are in the business of ripping off the few guest they had and not providing customer service, no fault of the staff. I would not recommend nor would I return.

Firstly, the staff! It's a smaller resort and everyone knew your name and making sure you were having a good and relaxing time! Everyone is so helpful and lovely!
Secondly, the Bure were right by the waterfront and each had an excellent view. The main area (restaurant/bar/pool) literally had the best view and sunsets you could open for. The spot is also incredible for snorkelling - loved it all!
The Bures could use a little renovation but if rustic is your go-to for holiday, then this is the perfect place!

The position was fantastic and very peaceful. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and all our requests were met with a smile. The food was good and the kitchen more than happy to fulfill special requests.
An unclean swimming pool. Nowhere to hang or put away clothes. A lack of maintenance.

Resort located in beautiful tropical paradise with beachfront bures and restaurant overlooking the infinity pool and the beach, relaxing atmosphere, delicious affordable food and great cocktails, lovely and hospitable staff, great included breakfast, lovely tropical gardens with loungers to enjoy the view, good snorkelling out from the resort. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling gear available to use for free.
Shower drain kept blocking, sheets were old, hard to escape the mosquitoes need to constantly apply insect repellent.

Great location, lovely beach and coastline and the pool setting and bar was really nice. Comfortable bed in what was a very basic room.
The bathroom was absolutely disgusting!

Amazing location out of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, great value for money and friendly staff. The food was incredible and so fresh and nothing was a problem if you needed help. The owner and the staff were so personable and helpful and had great suggestions of activities and areas to visit. The oceanfront rooms were so lovely. I could have stayed in the resort and not gone anywhere it was everything we needed. We will be back!
Outdoor shower could have been slightly better pressure however we understand they are on a water pump system. We wished there were more paddle boards with fins as we loved taking these out!

This place was amazing! My husband and I spent 3 night here, we wish we could stay longer - the atmosphere is super chill, friendly and there is a sense of like you are part of a small community.
The view from the room was stunning, beautiful sunsets, the beach is beautiful and water is crystal clear.
The service was fantastic, the staff was SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful, they helped me to organise a surprise birthday dinner for my husband, the dinner was delicious and the portions were huge. My husband loved it 😍
Food was delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, they change the menu every day for lunch and dinner, beer was always cold, nice cocktails. The prices for food and alcohol are good!
The free kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel equipment are a plus!
I definitely recommend this resort! 👌 I will come back again 😊

A beautiful resort in a beautiful place with great staff. Wifi was good in the common area and the pool and the facilities were good. We took the bus for $10 Fijian each as opposed to a taxi one way for $190. The dogs were fabulous. Free use of snorkels, kayaks, pool tables - a great place to unwind!
The beds and pillows were not very comfy and there was nowhere to dry our wet bikinis/shorts/towels.

The location was a 2 hour drive from aiport but well worth when you got there. The view from accommodation was beautiful out into the ocean, when the sun went down it was heaven. The meals were varied, good menu and the chefs were awesome. Ed and his partner Jenny always around and joining in with us all pretty good, a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were outstanding friendly, and it was all so personal. Thanks to Ed, Jenny and all staff hope to come back to Mango Bay.
Having to leave !!
