Cet établissement est le plus mauvais des 7 que nous avons eu en Crète. La piscine est très mal fréquentée car ouverte à tout le monde gratuitement ainsi que ses transats ,nous qui y logions devions payer les transats sur la plage car évidemment pas très envie d’aller macérer dans un bouillon de bactéries….la propreté du lieu laisse a désirer, sacs poubelles et déchets de partout tel un terrain vague, des blattes grosses comme un pouce qui courent dans l’appartement et dehors , bref à fuir..

Fantastiskt läge till ett bra pris och nyrenoverade rymliga boenden.
På avresedagen fick sällskapet behålla ett av rummen kostnadsfritt fram tills dess att vi åkte på kvällen.
Delar av personalen var väldigt trevliga och välkomnande, andra var det motsatta tyvärr.
Hade det inte varit för pool-situationen, så hade vi kunnat tänka oss att återvända då standarden på rum och läget för det pris vi betalade vägde upp det andra. 4 personer, 8 nätter i slutet av juni för 9000 kr
Vi hade meddelat att vi anlände på natten och fått svar om att det gick bra. När vi kom mitt i natten var det helt nedsläckt och ingen fanns på plats. Ägarinnan svarade när vi ringde på telefonnumret vi hittade i bokningen. Det visade sig då att hon var hemma, och att det inte fanns reception eller personal på plats. Nycklarna satt i lägenheterna ( vi var 3 familjer i sällskapet). Hade hon meddelat detta i förväg när jag kontaktade henne så hade det nog funkat bra, men nu blev det väldigt rörigt kl. O3. 00.
Städningen var något bristfällig. Framförallt mellan bokningar. Exempelvis var det schampo-rester på dusch väggarna.
Poolen var öppen för allmänheten. Alldeles för mycket människor i poolen gjorde att den snabbt blev smutsig. På helgerna och även kvällar, vällde lokalbefolkningen in och det blev väldigt stökigt på det lilla området, som annars hade varit väldigt mysigt. Vi ville inte vistas där i den röran vilket blev besvärligt när havsbadet blev omöjligt vissa dagar på grund av röd flagg.
Frukosten var inte det vi väntat oss, men ingen katastrof.
Inga val-möjligheter, utan man satte sig och sen serverades man det som de bestämde sig för att laga den dagen.
Alltid kaffe och juice (men man kunde inte välja juice utan det blev det som fanns tillgängligt.)
Ljust billigt rostat bröd med smör/jordgubbssylt.
Resten varierade mellan kokt/stekt ägg, omelett, tomat och gurka (ibland med fetaost). Äggrätterna var helt ok och det faktum att vi serverades frukosten vid havet var det som räddade upp upplevelsen samt den unge killen som alltid serverade med mycket skratt och hjälpsamhet.

Wat erg jammer is dat iedereen gebruik mag maken van het zwembad.
Hier word dan ook goed gebruik van van gemaakt door de plaatselijke bevolking

The well-appointed rooms offered everything we needed for a comfortable retreat, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our visit. We enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, indulging in delicious meals with a picturesque view. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would gladly repeat.

Gold Apartments provided excellent hospitality during our stay in Rethymno. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.

Location and access to beach
The pool and beach are open to public access so we had hundreds of random people off the streets coming to use the pool all day long. The pool was so packed that it couldn’t be used. There is no reception desk in case you need something and my brother in law and his family got a room with an aircond that didn’t work during a heatwave. The manager was quite dismissive of our requests for things like towels and a room with a working air conditioner and it wasn’t until we made firm demands that they were willing to accommodate. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The sea is beautiful. But there are only several days when it's open for swimming. Usually there is a red flag and huge waves.
The pool is NOT a private property. Actually I was shocked when I realised that it's open for anyone. The pool is dirty (sand and hair), the sunbeds are free of charge so actually everybody from the town can come and swim there. There are full of people every day, small children and bigger- all together. The entrance to the pool- slippery, easy get injured. Not safe at all. The apartment was clean by itself,but the towels where old with old dirty (grey) spots on them. The same was with the bedsheet...
The breakfast- they bring it to you- toast, then more toast and then fried eggs... brought coffee (1 small cup), asked for the tea (as I don't drink coffee), said, it's not possible as the bar is not working in the mornings (so it would be extra payment for the tea...)

The location and the lovely people in the area outside the accommodation.
The attitude, rudeness, unresponsiveness, and dismissive attitude of the staff, the lack of a working air conditioner in the room (despite the description saying it was a feature of the property), the uncleanliness of the room, that the pool pretty much functions as a public pool for the locals and anyone to use, the lack of towels available and complete inability to be provided any because the staff are unresponsive, and finally, being repeatedly lied to over a period of 24-36 hours by staff assuring us that our air conditioner has been fixed when it hadn’t. I abandoned this accommodation and ended up booking into a beautiful nearby hotel where the staff and facilities were just wonderful.

The beach front dining was lovely.Our breakfasts were amazing.So much variety and excellent quality of food.Maria who did the cooking was lovely and so friendly.As we went out of season the pool wasn’t filled but it is a large pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around and all areas around were very clean.
There was nothing that we didn’t like.It was all perfect.

We spent 10 days in the studio apartment in the beginning of october. You can find the apartment building in a small street, but in exchange you have a somewhat private, big parking space. The room was fine and spacious. Not so modern, but we had everything we needed. The view was just as the pictures. The personnel were amazing. So very kind, cheerful and warm. The cleaning lady came every day, she was also very nice. We felt like family there. We asked for breakfast, and the food was also delicious. The apartment is by the beach and in the tourist shopping centre, but it was calm and the Rethimno city centre is just minutes away. I would totally recommend. The pool and location was incredible! the outside area is perfect! I can’t speak highly enough of how awesome the outside area is!
The beds were hard as a rock. We layered the doonas down and slept on top which helped. The water kept going to cold and the pressure dropped. It was great just needs to be managed. The inside space is clean and tidy just needs some upkeep.

The apartments were very clean, brand new and comfortable, an excellent value for money.
Came with a fully equipped kitchen, A/C and a lovely patio with table and chairs
The check in was not very smooth as it was hard to locate the rooms at night and also find the responsible person.
Even so, once found, she compensated with her sweetness and flexibility.
Just a small note for improvement on the signs and check in progress. Thank you for everything Georgia!

Location was great, right on the beach and 15 minute drive to Rethymno old town. Amazing outdoor area! the staff were so lovely and very welcoming. The room was very spacious and had an excellent view! would definitely stay here again.

The location is good. There's a swimming pool. The beach next to the apartments is nice. There's a restaurant next to the beach. On the street nearby there are many shops and restaurants.
If you want to checkout when the boss is away, you need to wait for the boss to come back.

Ordered the deluxe apartment that was supposed to have garden view but had no view but road of people walking in and out and looking down on us since it was lower then the road, and view of neighbors hotels balcony.
Strongly asked for different room and got the one above. At least the people walking by couldn't look directly at us and into our room.
The room was clean and comfortable. Had nothing but small soap. No coffee, tea, water... So come prepared with everything you need.
The restaurant was ok. A bit too long of a wait (at least 1 hour for crep) but the food was tasty
The crew was nice and plesant and even helped to open the room with spare keys. The beach is sooooo calming and beautiful and the pool was clean.
Overall we enjoyed ourr stay.

Having the breakfast next to the beach was really nice - beautiful scenery. Friendly personnel, but quite unorganized way of working. Good space for parking. Nice that the sea was so near.
There was just one blanket /cover per double bed and the other of those was a bit dirty - we need to ask for extra ones and clean. No problem of getting those though. Good to note that during the weekends the pool area is used also by the locals, so it will be really busy and noisy then. This could have been stated better on the hotel information (or some discount on the price during that time, because there is not that much space in the pool then). The breakfast is served to the table but reserve good time for that - it might take quite long for you to get it (all of it). Reserve also good time for check out especially if you pay with card - only one from the personnel can accept card payments and she needs to be at the hotel then. We booked a room with partial sea view, but in reality that ment that we could see just a hint of the sea behind the trees - wasn't what we expected.

Rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable. Pool is very big and it is right on the beach. Breakfast is very nice and the lady who cooks breakfast is very friendly. Location is good with lots of tavernas and places to eat just outside the apartments. Also it is 15mins by car to Rethymno.

Amazing place with amazing owners and workers. Rooms after renovation with AC, rooms cleaned every day. I felt more like spending time in friends house more than rent apartments.

I had a very nice apartment with amazing sea view. The breakfast was very tasty and completely full. Staff was very polite. Unfortunately I stayed only one day… but I will be back next month for a week. Thanks for your kindness.

Very friendly people especially Maria.The beds were comfortable. Good location for getting around and visiting the island;
The kitchen was not well equipped , the hob was poor and slow, people, there was not even a teaspoon. It was early and also cold for the pool but we paid as if it was a service. No measure for mosquitoes, a mosquito net but traces of mosquitoes on the walls caused by previous guests were present.

The location is very nice, in the beach front and a lovely beach. There is also a swimming pool but I didn't use it. Staff very friendly specially Georgia that was always ready to help. The view from the apartment balcony is beautiful.
The water in the bathroom for shower and lavatory was very slow. The tile floor in corridors is very slippery when wet. WIFI is poor.
