Pay too price and you expect top value - not my experience I am afraid.

It was convenient for a funeral service.

Charged my daughter £100 when she picked us up. Inside hotel is very dark so she did not see any instruction to register her car just for a pick up. And nobody at reception advised her when she asked to call us down. Shower mat was mouldy and had to be changed.

Excellent, the staff are so professional and friendly will use the hotel again.

Slight signs of wear and tear in the bedroom Breakfast a little too pricy. Leaking shower (when using the hand shower ) Seal on exterior of shower required cleaning.

Nice hotel for what I needed

Nice hotel, very warm and welcoming, parking is plentiful. Room was comfortable and clean with everything needed for a good night sleep. there was a good atmosphere throughout the hotel.

The 'Fitness suite' was a bit of a let down, it was a room smaller than a bedroom with 3 machines in there and a couple of light weights, which i thought was a bit poor of a hotel of that size!!

We only spent one night our our 12 night holiday here, but it was the best hotel by far and less than half the price of

Atmosphere was great and the service very good. Food was very good, well presented and generally good value. Good room facilities, clean and everything one would expect. There was very little not to like, a lot. We will go back.

The bed was a nightmare! Far too soft, I felt as if I was falling off it, it was so soft.

Bad practice

they take £50 of your card after you have paid for the room incase you buy drinks or food But they are slow to put it back if you don't use it Also why do this as people can pay in the restaurant or bar I'm sure some people couldn't afford for this to happen It should be refunded immediately on checking out For this reason I wouldn't stay with them again

Quality of food was excellent. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful

The environment was too dark - daylight was banished. Also the service was rather slow, probably because there were so many guests, so could have been better organised

Restaurant staff in the evening excellent. Quality of dinner very good.I like the Dakota ambience albiet it felt a bit out of place on the edge of an industrial estate

Breakfast service really poor, 25/30 minute wait. Fortunately I had previous experience so left myself plenty of time. The gym incredibly poorly equipped. Car Park strewn with rubbish.

Fabulous Hotel

Everything - staff are welcoming and professional and nothing too much trouble. The decor throughout from when you enter to your room and the cosiness of the sofas and chairs. Food is delicious.

Restaurant is a bit pricey with limited options that remain the same so when i visit twice a month to area and stay over, i'm thinking of eating elsewhere now.

Staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful. Room and bed were comfortable, bathroom good.

Food! Menu was very limited and food was certainly not 4star quality. My sister had to send her food back or she would probably have broken some teeth on the charcoaled chicken coating! I could have had a much better burger in MacDonalds for a quarter of the price and my brother in law’s fish and chips was soggy and only passable. Wine was extremely expensive. Hotel seemed poorly organised/managed- several requests to staff eg for wine menu etc. had to be repeated, service was pleasant but pretty slow at times.

Absolutely joke, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed it.

Service was terrible hairs and toothpaste in the sink never sorted the difference after paying 80 in cash for the room and 60 for the room deposit even tho it was 50 got 3 drinks from the bar the first drink I signed then paid cash for it but got chanted second drink asked for two vodkas and 1 lemonade and 1 cola got two doubles and two of each drinks and then the last drink got refused to pay for them in cash and then 10 minutes later came back and accepted the cash On check out told £24 was took off the bill for the HAIR and TOOTHPASTE in the sink even after all the other inconveniences so I got £20 back from my £60 room deposit and tbh the staff were rude the night shift staff told me lies upon lies, and basically robbed me of £20 I have him for the first drink. WILL NOT BE BACK, absolute joke for supposed to be a 4/5 star hotel.
