Good and simple place!

We used Uber to arrive from the Train Station in 5 Bicas, an old building, located in a calm neighborhood. On the street night, you have a lot of student bars and restaurants (like 100 Montaditos and Ramona). The 5 Bicas is located 10 minutes from the Ria and the touristic zone which is always busy with music, restaurants, and tourists, a place to hike by day or night. An old building (like the entire street), where the spaces were simple, clean, and safe. The kitchen for the breakfast has coffee, bread sweets, and salties. You can find a small supermarket near home (SPAR). The private bathroom is good (and you have another for a floor). Our bedroom was small (for 4 people, but we were in 3). The 5 Bicas attention before the trip, during the check-in, and the support was good!

We have had problems with the mosquitos because the windows didn't have protection.

Okay for a short stay in the city centre

The check-in process was easy and well-described. The room is simple but has everything you need for a short stay. The location is great - everything is reachable by foot from this accommodation.

The beds are super squeaky. Whoever turns a little while sleeping, he will wake up both himself and the person next to him. Pillows could also be more comfortable.

The place is quiet, close to the center and with free parking near, so it is a good choice to spend some days both for work or for leisure. Beds are comfortable.

My bedroom smelled a little damp. Maybe they do not need to clean the towels every day, if I am staying two or three days, is comfy but a waste of water.

Very good location and contact with personnel! Possible to leave the luggage after check-out.

Unfortunately, the noise from downstairs is unbearable. It lasts till midnight at least, so this place woudn't be the best choice for a relaxing stay. The room has no real window, no fresh air - it's kind of stuffy and dark. Taking that into account the price should be much lower. I wish I could say something nicer because contact with personnel was good.

Cute building in great location and price! Very well organised staff

Noisy music from downstairs from midday until midnight. No natural light in the room.

A good sleeper spot for short stays.

Beds comfy, Very close to supermarket and sights Quite spaces Bus out to the beaches is a short walk from here.

Sucked we couldn't use the kitchen outside of breakfast time. Would be really helpful if we could have used this.

Great vibe and would stay again

Breakfast was good and simple. There is wifi at the property, but if you're in the back courtyard private rooms you won't have wifi. The back courtyard is small but great for evening relax before bed. Nice vibe. Very chill.

The private rooms have teeny bathrooms.

The room only has one small window (we had to keep it closed during the summer night because of the mosquitoes), the bathroom has no ventilation. We can also hear someone playing loud music nearby all night. The coffee included in the breakfast tastes very bad.

Exceptional

Room was cute and practical with a lot of storage space. Bathroom was clean, spacious and practical. Breakfast nice. Staff was impeccable! I recommend.

Very good location.

The shower in the bathroom was with a nylon curtain, not as shown in the photos with a glass shower. In the yard there was a full ashtray with butts that no one cleaned during our stay. The place needs renovation.

Lovely welcoming staff and clean rooms

Location was excellent, the garden was a bonus it was nice to sit outside 😀. The room was small but the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. It's worth asking on booking to get a room with WiFi because it doesn't work in every room. The breakfast was simple but plenty of fresh rolls and the staff made us feel very welcome and even brought us a packed breakfast ready because we were leaving 5am and would miss breakfast 😀

The tv channels were limited but then we were so tired from sightseeing and didn't mind 😴 😁
