This small hotel is like a family. I wouldn’t recommened to families with small babies or many kids.

The breakfast/ lunch were ok. They need more variety, say fruits, cereal, different kind of breads. Maybe a menu for each day of the week? The persons at the kitchen, the attendants, the Administrator, exceptionally kind. They want to please us! It was a pleasure for me to return to this lovable hotel! I recommended to friends/ tourist.

I already mentioned to have a variety of fresh fruits. Could it be to have some small snacks bags, nuts, to sell, beside the pastry…

Very nice.

5 minutes walk from a huge shopping mall and supermarket and a very safe area. Friendly staff and lovely common lounge area. Rooms had a little balcony which was nice.

Not the most comfortable bed in the world.

Pleasant

The first room was good. We liked and we booked the same one for the rest of the holidays

They changed our booking without telling us. We had booked the nice big room where we stayed before. We chose to come back at the hotel because we like that room. Reception said it was ok. After 2 days we went back to the hotel, and the reception said the room wasn't available anymore. They gave us a smaller one, at the same price. We asked if we could have a discount and they refused. It was late to reserve another hotel. I gave 6, it's average between 8 the first time and 4 the second.

- Good facilities in a large room. - staff were very helpful - Nice hot shower

- the walk from El Poblado is 30 mins which can be difficult in hot weather.

Great value

Very great location. Great place for first or last night in town. Hot water was excellent.

No cups in room or downstairs. I Needed to take my pills. Found empty pizza box under bed.

Didn't get our room as was overbooked

Loved the old style of the hotel. Amparo was a lovely lady who helped us when we couldn't stay there.

Booked on Booking, arrived at the hotel and confronted trouble. Apparently the person in our room hadn't left and so we didn't have a room. Quite annoying but the lady working helped us find another hotel- just disappointing on Ayenda's behalf but what can you do.

Exceptional

This is a great place to stay. Super convenient location, close to restaurant, supermarket, shopping and the main road. I will return the next time I am in town. They also have a great little court yard for sitting or enjoying your breakfast or coffee.

The hotel is well located. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is available for a small charge. The staff is very friendly

I booked in advance and spoke with one of the staff members, explaining that my flight would be arriving to Medellín late at night. She said she would leave a note at the front desk to expect me between 11 pm and midnight. I got there at 11:50 pm, rang the doorbell, and eventually a guest opened the door. he was waiting on some friends and told me the receptionist has left around 8 pm and there was no one there to get me checked in or give me a key. I had no access to a room. I called and sent them WhatsApp messages with no reply. Luckily I had a friend staying at another hotel and managed them to share a room there. this hotel messaged me back until 3 am and didn’t even apologize, just asked how they could help. worst experience ever!

Good located, but nothing else

The hotel is well located, but the room was disappointing as it was not clean and quite loud. The breakfast was bad as the quality of the products were poor. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this option.

very worthwhile facility if you can stand a little noise.

the location, price and quality combine well for the bargain traveler. the biggest and only main drawback is the constant noise from the nearby streets.

Disappointing

Nice kitchen and cleaning staff, fresh breakfast

Our room was inside the building with three windows to the hallway. One was very high up with no glass (basically a hole in the wall) and couldn't be closed so you heard every little sound from the hallway/ entrance area and light came in whenever somebody turned on the light in the hallway. This woke us up several times at night.

pleasant, would return again

decent location - near a metro stop, not far to walk from el poblado, comfortable room, good hot water in shower, the staff are very accommodating

no AC but they had a fan which wasn’t too bad, the shower head wasn’t very good, the front desk isn’t 24 hours

Clean hotel in a good location with friendly staff

Location was good, it was a quick Uber/taxi ride from most places. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and patient with my lack of Spanish. I would stay again.

The room was nice, good location, clean and tidy, nice staff

I didn't rate with 10 because I'm sure they can improve with facilities, maybe the place could be more cozy and also offering breakfast which is very important sometimes, even if they have to charge a bit more .

It’s a cozy, charming, authentic place in an excellent location. Very good value.

I would have liked access to the garden sitting area. Breakfast would have been a bonus.
