The location is great and one can walk anywhere in town as well as the train station.

While it was nice to have a balcony, it was simply not maintained and one could see the scum on the bottom pan and the boards were really loose. The bathroom is quite old and the fixtures did not appear to be maintained. Overall, I would never stay again.

Great location and fun hotel style, rocky 80s', very different from what you find elsewhere in Switzerland

Some hotel part could be modernised, at the same time the hotel has its own style that is original.

had a note at the end of the stay, which made me really disappointed!

the room is spacious and location is close to where I had to be

the staff at the end tried to charge me extra at the check-out while I had a late night out (accidentally locked myself out) and was staying in the hospital later than expected in the morning. it was 30 CHF for 2hr 15min!!! otherwise the heating is a unique situation in this hotel. I love their cinema and the overall condition.

great stay, very hospitable to foreign guests, definitely recommend for anyone travelling to Switzerland the first time

there is a cinema in the hotel l, free movies for guests!

Very good

The hotel is located in an old, nice building in the old town of Winterthur. Our room had a view of a beautiful, very quiet courtyard. The room was small but comfortable, with a cosy balcony. Everything in Winterthur is within walking distance from the hotel. Staff was superfriendly. As a very surprising plus: the hotel also hosts an arthouse cinema and all guests get tickets for free. We ended up watching _Phantom of the open_ to kill time during a thunderstorm.

The breakfast was really, really minimalistic; but I reckon that the price of this hotel, while high for me as a foreigner, is probably rather low for swiss standards. Besides, nothing really bad to mention.

Superb

perfect location in the middle of Winterthur. Very urban location with good food and very friendly staff. I was there during Albanifest and it was the perfect stay to manage my project.

A sweet hotel with amazing staff in a perfect location and amazing breakfast. we will come again

the staff was unbelievably nice and helpful we arrived early and were tired, one of the staff members went aboard beyond to get us into the rooms earlier and got us water too. free bis pass, breakfast and movies -nice

there is no air conditioning nor fans available. it got really hot during our stay and it didn’t cool down that much at night. a fan for the night would have made sleeping more comfortable during the really hot nights.

Great stay in the City Center of Winterthur.

I loved the room with a nice balcony. Very centric. Easy check-in and check out. Nice staff. You can go to the cinema in the hotel for free. That was great.

I really enjoyed the stay.

The room was very nice, also the whole building is pretty and clean. Darker and more sunlight-blocking curtains would have helped in the morning, but this is just my personal preference. The breakfast was good, could have had more options, of course. What I want to highlight, is exceptionally friendly staff!

Surprising, comfortable and a refreshing hotel concept

It’s in the downtown area with many restaurants and shops and walking distance to the museums. As the hotel also a cinema free tickets to the films is included. Breakfast too. The Technical parking station is also a 2 minute walk away if you don’t managed to get parking at the hotel.

The room was a big hot. But otherwise all was good.

Good location. Very frienfly staff. Good beds. Nice bathroom

Configation of the room not handy with a table under the roof. Easily fixed. There was a possibility to make coffee or tea, but there was only one teabag and no coffee.

Wonderful staff and location

Staff were all incredibly friendly, constantly trying to feed us for free from buffet, and checking us in early. The location of the hotel is perfect, lots of little shops, cafes on your doorstep, very pretty area, short walk to the train station. Rooms differ in size but both were quiet and cool, both our rooms had nice views. There was free coffee and water on hand whenever needed.

The rooms really need to be cleaned better. There were dust balls in the corner of the rooms and the sinks had old toothpaste on them. If you used hotel mugs or glasses and left them in your rooms they were not removed for cleaning. Breakfast was basic, range could have been better. We booked one queen and one superior twin but when we arrived the staff wanted to check us into two queen rooms as they were ready, but the twin room was much bigger.
