Great stay with nice pool area and excellent service from every person that worked there

Really nice and hospitable staff with excellent service throughout our stay. Good rooms and feel of a small and nice hotel.

We didn’t realise how close it was to the highway, you can hear the traffic. But once settling in and getting used to it, you don’t think too much about it. If you’re looking for a completely silent and secluded area that is worth considering.

Disappointing because of the bathroom

The property is beautiful on the outside

Our room was unacceptable. We had a bathtub and you could not stand up for the shower since the wall and ceiling prevented you from standing up. You would’ve had to be 3 feet tall to use the shower for a four-star hotel. This is unacceptable.

The room was lovely and the staff was very friendly. The in-house restaurant is part of the JRE group and was very good.

The wellness is a bit rudimentary (small sauna and pool).

We had a wonderfull time!

Breakfast and food werd more than great. As well as the service provided by the whole staf.

The children could not stand in their shower (was too low)

a lovely base to stay for touring northern Isteria

lovely grounds and swimming pool area. staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them

upper loft bedroom was far too small with low ceilings. however reception did agree to change the room for a slightly larger one with more ceiling height

Beautiful weekend

Lovely familly owned hotel, very kind staff, comfy bed, great breakfast, beautiful yard with pool and restaurant. Basically everything is as presented on Booking.

Although it’s visible in every detail that hotel was built and decorated to the highest standard at the time, it could do with a bit of maintenece (doors hard to close, leaky toilet tank, few cracks on walls etc). These small details didn’t bother us, but they’re easily fixable and could vastly improve overall impression.

Boutique hotel with potential

We were having dinner in the restaurant nearby and so we booked this hotel to stay over. It's a nice boutique sized hotel. Must be nice in the summer as they have a great summer garden. Very pleasant and professional staff.

Bathroom & cleanliness. Breakfast could be a bit richer for the price.
