Lovely room

I was met at the door and greeted with a warm welcome. Whilst checking in, I was advised my room had been upgraded to a sea view room. I was so pleased and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The front door was secure at all times and I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Facilities had everything I needed, tea/coffee, TV, fridge, decent plug sockets and a full length mirror (important!!). Although they don't offer late checkout, they were really generous with allowing me extra time in the morning. When visiting Hastings in the future I will certainly choose this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The 8.30am window cleaner. Thankfully my curtains were closed.

I would stay there again.

Good location, staff helpful and friendly. Nice extras in the room e.g. dispensers of shower gel and shampoo actually attached to the shower wall.

The stairs were quite a struggle. To get up to my room using the last stair case I felt a bit like a steeplejack.

Comfortable room with just the necessary facilities.

Nice, comfortable room with great views of the beach. Bathroom was nice and had a bath which I wasn't expecting. Bed was comfortable and there were tea and coffee facilities. Location was good - just less than 10 minutes from the station and maybe 10 minutes to the old town. Good value.

Wifi connection was very poor. Even my roaming data was very poor around this area.

It was an ok stay but I don’t feel it was value for the amount I paid.

The stairs to room 10 had no banisters. VERY dangerous. Had to walk up 3 flights and then a tiny twisting staircase with nothing to hold onto besides the wall. NOT safe at all. Not as clean as it should have been. There was a massive old blood stain on the duvet cover which I didn’t notice till the morning. I do have a picture of this. I didn’t like the fact the bathroom didn’t have a door or some form of cover to separate it from the rest of the room. In my parents room the fan in the bathroom has stopped working and the hairdryer was EXTREMELY dusty and the end had melted.

The hotel was pleasant and vey convenient for the beach. Over all it was quite family orientated.

The staff were very supportive and tried to help out with the confusion with the booking.

There was no lift and we were on the top floor, and we had booked a family room for our son, but had to stay in a double room.

Really good stay, this hotel is my go-to and am always disappointed if I can't get a room here.

The hotel is situated opposite the sea-front so you come out, cross the road and you're on the beach. The rooms are extremely well equipped for the price. There's a hairdryer, fridge, iron and board and a fan. The tea-tray is replenished every morning, beds turned and towels replaced. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

The only problem I had was not with the hotel itself but from the noise outside. There is a large pub on the corner that occasionally gets noisy. I visited on the Bank Holiday weekend so wasn't really surprised, people were there to enjoy themselves so I expected some noise.

Room 7, very cramped, bed mattress too big for base, kept moving, overall very clean. Very good location.

Sea view Only to cross the road to be on the beach. Close to old town and train station. Good place to eat just round the corner.
