Great value, spacious and comfortable

Great value, spacious rooms and friendly staff. The building seems old but the air con is quite new and works well. The restaurant and cafe across the road are good for dinner and breakfast respectively so we went no further. Very quick laundry service too.

The swimming pool is only open from 7pm to 10pm. It would be nice to use it earlier in the afternoon. The cafe/bar on site didn't seem to be open but it was fine because of the ones across the street

Sødt og hjælpsomt personale. Fine store værelser. God valuta for pengene. Perfekt placering i stille område 2 minutters gang fra nightmarket.

The location is great. Its near everything we like to do. It's a quiet, comfortable hotel. We always stay there in Siem Reap.

Chambres propres et nettoyées tous les jours. Situé à côté du vieux marché. Pas de restaurant sur place mais de très nombreux aux alentours.

Le prix des excursions proposées (temples d’angor ou Kampong Klean) est trop cher. Les vélos en location étaient dans un mauvais état. Mieux vaut se débrouiller par ailleurs.

Get what you pay for

Good location, friendly staff, big room, powerful warm shower, cheap

The room felt unclean and I was itching all night, have woken up this morning covered in small itchy bites. Doesn’t really look like the pictures and was quite dark and dingy, but I guess you get what you pay for and it is very affordable. My room was right next to reception and it was quite loud throughout the night and in the morning. Air conditioning didn’t work so the room was stuffy.

Lovely hotel with a homestay-feel

A hotel that feels almost like a homestay. The owners are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and clean; the pool area invites for chilling out. Very quiet, despite the central location.

Very good hotel but avoid their tuktuk tours

This hotel is very good and we would recommend it on every aspect. However we had a very bad experience with their tuktuk driver for a day tour at Angkor Wat. In order to have a good experience, we preferred to pass through them to get a tuktuk driver even if it meant to pay a premium. What we ended up getting is a very rude driver that only wanted to get us to his overpriced and badly rated restaurants where he would get a commission (7$ for a fried rice, trust me even if it’s a touristy place you can find it for cheaper on the side of the road). He barely knew anything about the temples and without entering in the details he lied to us at a couple occasions. We felt uncomfortable during the whole day and would just recommend anyone to just rent a scooter and do it by themselves. You will be more free

Nice and very clean hotel, the pool was also super clean. The lady at the front is friendly and very nice. Location is great, close to the market and walking street. Aircon worked super well, it was so hot on the street.

Expensive aircon in unbearably hot room

The staff were very friendly and spoke great English. The hotel has lots of trips available to book which look like good value for money (we only stayed 1 night so didn’t do any). The location is fantastic in a peaceful area but very close to all the action.

Be warned that the hotel rooms are HOT! We booked a fan only room and thought this would be suitable for us as we have been staying in fan only rooms across Cambodia and also in other parts of Siem Reap itself and have always felt cool and comfortable enough. However, the rooms here are very stuffy with poor general ventilation so are much hotter than other rooms we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, the fan provided is a very weak ceiling fan which did nothing to cool the room. Feeling extremely uncomfortable we asked how much it would cost to use the aircon in our room (the aircon units are installed in our jn the rooms but you need to pay extra to get the remote if you have only paid the fan only room rate) and we were told that we would need to pay an additional $16 per night if we wanted to use the aircon! Baring in mind our room was only $7 per night this is a ridiculous additional cost. The room was so unbearably hot that we both barely slept all night - very glad we had only booked one night here and chose to move elsewhere the next day

Great place un Siem Reap

The location is great if you look for a quiet place. It is not in the center of Siem Reap but in a short walking distance. Very recommended! The room was big enough, big and confortable beds and the shower was perfect! The swimminpool was an extra very appreciated. It was cleaned everyday. Vira, the guy in the reception, was super helpful and nice.

Nothing bad, but just a suggestion to put some hooks in the room to hang the clothes or towels will be very appreciated

Good location with pleasant swimming pool and dining area in front courtyard of the hotel.

Location over the river away from noisy Pub Street but still close to walk in and around the town.

First room offered was on ground floor and had bad stench of urine, relocated to private dorm room and only got our twin room on the second night.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tropical Breeze. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Our stay was even more enjoyable because of the good help of and laughs with Vira. Also the family of the hotel was so kind. If you are staying at Tropical Breeze make sure to book a tour with Saroun Sean to go to Angkor Wat. He knew all the best routes and old stories which was really enjoyable! Thank you all for your introduction to Cambodia. We loved it. Greetz Robert en Lois

felt like home

We had a great stay in Siem Reap for 11 nights and this hotel was like a little home for us. We felt very comfortable in the room, the food was delicious (especially the mashed potatoes) and the staff was just great with all their help and kindness. The prices were always fair - also for all the daytours we did. Thank you dear Family and Vira for making us feel at home.

We stayed in tropical breeze in October/22 and we enjoyed it so much, everything was perfect. First of all they provided us the pick up from the airport with a tuk tuk and his driver Darro, so kind and available,who became our personal favorite tuk tuk driver among the city the next days, also for a very enjoyable day-tour to some attraction of the city. The position is strategical, near to every facilities, to the market, to the night Life and to the centre. We didn't have problems moving by foot everywhere at any hour. The owner was so kind in everything and so available and patient to embrace whatever request we had, helped us in organizing the missing parts of our itinerary and our transfers to any place. Available 24h/24h. Finally, the room was perfect as well, with two large beds (we had a double room) and two huge windows provided with mosquitoes net, a fan .. and not a single mosquito inside the room for all our staying. Unluckily we didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful big swimming pool in the front side garden, but we could see it was very clean. 100% recommend you this, we definitely will stay here if we ever come back to siem reap (that we wish so much to) ❤

The place has a great location, close to the night market, good restaurants and Pub Street. Felt safe walking around, even at night, the staff was very helpful in organizing some tours for me and overall, the entire experience here was very lovely and exactly what I needed. Plus, i had a great view towards the garden and the wifi was flawless, which was important for work.

Totally worth the money! you won’t regret if you choose it

Everything was great, I really enjoyed staying here! the location is perfect - it’s in walking distance to everything you need and still in a quiet area, so the noice from pub street doesn’t bother here. good size room and bathroom. communal balcony with seating and a great pool. staff very friendly and can arrange trips around Angkor wat for a good price. good location, quiet area with lots of restaurants and pub street is only a 5 minute walk away.

the room was quite dark. we booked/paid for breakfast however their kitchen is not open. false advertising.
