Charme de la demeure et environnement. Belle piscine. Grands appartements (le notre faisait 120m2 poue 2 chambres).
Restaurant agréable et nous y avons très bien mangé.

localização, estrutura e arquitetura
falta de organização e produtos no café da manhã

The historic setting was incredible. Lots of character. We loved the old arches in our suite. The pool was great. Close to Siena, which we loved.
The bed was the hardest I’ve ever slept on. Not a lot of natural light, or windows in the suite. Some of the units have a little patio, ours did not.

Prelepo imanje, lako dostupno i na dobroj poziciji za obilazak Toskane. Izuzetno pitomo i mirno okruzenje, osecali smo se bezbedno. Privatni parking je olaksao povratak svaki put🙂
Nazalost, zbog loseg vremena nismo mogli u potpunosti uzivati u pogodnostima koje pruza.

I like the beauty of this historical place. Staff were so kind and friendly.
The restaurant and the staff are very kind and hospitable. Our cooking class was so much fun! The tiramisu turned out heavenly yummy.

Romantic property with spacious and very clean apartments!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - always charming and effort!
For group trips we highly recommend the theme nights Antonio offers - the food was very delicious and the house wines excellent! Don't forget to try the house olive oil, it is very tasty.
We combined our family vacation with our wedding celebration - everything was perfectly arranged and organized!
Many thanks to the "Borgo Il Poggiaccio -Team" for the wonderful time! You have done a great job!

Great main building with traditional features
Great staff always hepful
Great swimming pool
Very close from road, can be problem in some units; we had to change apartment because of this reason
No AC, very big issue due to heat wave
Furnishing and overall quality could be improved including shower fixtures, living room furniture etc

Beautiful atmosphere at the property. Would definitely return.
The road close by created noisy traffic in the afternoon

A beautiful property set in a great location. Amazing pool with a relaxing environment.
Breakfast was disappointing. We were asked for our food preferences but often half the items were never brought out and staff seemed annoyed when you asked for the missing items.

The view from the window was beautiful, the accommodation offered a lot of space.
The buildings and everything around created an incomparable charm.
The staff was always accommodating and very friendly.
Offers such as tennis, cycling and pool (unfortunately only perceived the latter) also speak for this accommodation.
The associated restaurant offered very good food, partly even homemade products (like the wine).
Breakfast is highly recommended.
Our highlight was the little kitten that kept us company every now and then.
The location is somewhat marred by the very close country road, which is not busy, but still unpleasant.
Speaking of noise...On two of our nights, a musician was on site for evening entertainment. Unfortunately this went on a bit too long and unfortunately he wasn't very talented either.
As already mentioned, the food was very tasty, but a the dinner prices were a bit high (especially for the desserts). For us it was still worth it.

Beautiful passage in time in a small medieval setting.

breakfast was perfect! Fresh, delicious, and nicely served.
last evening we had problems with the hot water, which was not a pleasant surprise.

The villa was incredible!! We had the best time and only wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Beautiful location and lovely old 'borgo"' setting.
Great garden and pool area.
Lovely restaurant and outdoor tables
Badly kept kitchens and bathrooms in most apartments. Our apartment was extremely dark. On a rainy day lots of water came into the apartment from the windows and ceiling, would have been good to know in advance the apartment has this issue. Fee for dogs is 30euro a day and includes nothing(no regular nor special pet services so not sure what the high price is for). Breakfast is pricy and not really the best, staff at bar was very confused and slow.

Excellent, villa is incredible, staff was nice and helpful, food and wine was amazing! we will repeat!

Great location with beautiful sunset view over the heights and the swimming pool. Helpful staff in the reception who helped us to rent a car for a day. The lady in the restaurant gave us more glasses for wine for our house and helped us with information. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with own garden and it was just amazing. Free bikes to ride around. So valuable for the money! We would come back.
It is next to the main road so it is a bit noisy because you hear the cars early in the morning.

Beautiful old building in a very scenic location. they make their own wine, olive oil, and bread- which were all delicious! The lodging was adorable. The pool was beautiful and clean, even though it was too cold and rainy for us to swim it was nice to look at.
Worst beds I have slept on in Europe. The second bathroom is too small to move around in.

There are beautiful places and there are beautiful places that have a soul like borgo il Poggiaccio !
Before listing the beauties of the place I want to make a special mention to the staff and the manager who really make a difference here: One day they have celebrated, involving all the guests, the birthday of the sweet Evelyn, the restaurant employee who , with her smile accompanies you from breakfast to dinner making you feel at home. This type of things are part of the perfect Italian Hospitality and are priceless!
Now to list all the beautiful things of this place which make it the perfect spot for families:
- beautiful cozy apartments
- home feeling like if you were vacationing with friends
- pool, sports courts , free bikes and lovely ourdoor spaces for families
- tuscan sunset and delicious food at their restaurant
- restaurant Cantina del Poggiaccio with stunning italian breakfast km 0 with freshly baked cakes and homemade products
Are you still thinking about it? 🌳🤩🌳

Beautiful place. Staff were lovely, especially Evelyn.
. Very quiet as mainly concentrating on Weddings and not holidays. Restaurant was nice with good food but also very expensive for what was served.

absolutely stunning place to stay. We were there for a wedding and then stayed for a few days longer. The venue and staff were incredible especially the setting for the wedding but they couldn’t do enough for you and so friendly. Great location to explore the nearby towns and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Would come back in a heartbeat, thank you for an amazing few days.
nothing.

Pool area, tennis court
Very old , poorly equipped kitchen.
Restaurant is closed, altough breakfast (prepacked) was provided in the appartments, we had to wash the dishes.

Location was good and views very nice.
It is very old and not looked after at all, but specially customer service from reception was un aceptable and rude.
Most sunbeds of the pool are broken and depending on the size of your room, you get a sun bed and a deck chair (even if they have free ones).
Apartments are old and not very clean.
We had cockroaches in our room, on of them on the bed.
On top of it, when we arrived there was an electricity problem, and we understand things happen, but from reception instead of offering solutions, they told us we had no right to be angry because it was not their fault. They could offered a water bottle, invited us to a glass of wine or even said: no worries, since your check in is delayed you will be able to check out later when you leave.
Breakfast is poor and low quality, but what is more impressive is that they offer breakfast until 10 (which we booked) and they confirmed, and then called us with not good manners, to tell us we had to check out at 10. (Baring in mind we could not check in until 16.30 the previous day).
Wouldn’t recommend this place at all, and would advise the hotel direction that reception staff takes some sort of course on customer service and client management. If there is a crisis you can either offer solutions and apologise, or create more problems.
They chose option 2.

Breakfast was good - albeit everyday the same does gets a bit boring. Pool was fantastic and big. WIFI at many locations - ideal for the addicts :-)
Very nice environment
Restaurant was closed (corona..) yet open at other locations. Cleaning and breakfast staff were very friendly - can't say that from the reception (a bit fake IMO - sorry)

Everything was good.
Road next to room that was noisy also I could hear everything our nabours said in their apartment, so a bit poorly isolated. But with nice nabours this is no problem.
4.0
Beautiful location and a nice concept of having tables and pool areas designated to the specific appartment. The appartment was spacious amd well maintained, the breakfast service was also very good as a basket was delivered to your front door.
An open restaurant would be nice, however due to covid restrictions this is explainable.
4.5
It is old tuscan style - very charming - everything was very clean - corona breakfast was good.
We really enjoyed our stay!
Wifi was not so good but that is not that important
