A great place to kick off our visit to South Africa - comfortable, convenient, and an excellent value.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, attractive, and roomy. The property was safe and included abundant secure parking. The pets and our hosts were friendly and welcoming.

It was awesome, but minor enhancements would include a blowdryer and a lighter bed cover option (cover was a bit warm for the time of year).

Hidden Gem

Great little hideaway, a good location, close to required amenities, lovely garden, quiet and peaceful. Super comfortable bed and lovely apartment. Jamie was a great host.

Pleasant hosts, I recommend them.

The lounge is very spacious and the electric blankets kept me nice and warm.

The power outages were a little inconvenience but I understand it was out of their control.

Comfortable stay in convenient location

I liked the privacy and self catering facilities. . The area was ideal for where I wanted to be. The mall within walking distance was convenient. A comfortable stay!

Stairs to climb to get to the bedroom and bathroom downstairs in my cottage was fine for me but may not suit everyone..

Charming cottages

Charming, well-equipped cottage close to shops and amenities. Electric blanket on the bed was a lovely touch.

No shower curtain on the shower.

It was really a haven after a delayed journey and Charlotte was an absolute angel.

Location was excellent, despite not having a car could easily walk to the shops. Loadshedding was hardly noticeable thanks to the inverter... a Godsend!

The doors need a bit of maintenance - we thought a door was locked, but was just really tricky to open :). Also, the bathroom and bedroom doors don't close flush, and are knocked about in the doorjambs - but only on a windy night.

Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Moonflower cottages.

We were a group of friends staying in one of the Chalets. The property was incredibly spacious and clean. We didn’t need to bring any utensils or cleaning supplies. It was already provided. The location is walking distance from supermarkets and fast food outlets. The host was super friendly and helpful.

The location is exceptional. Great security, clam and relaxing area, and the sunflower villa is a superb family home away from home. Great facility and everything well thought of and provided, including a braai area, adequate crockery, cleaning materials, insecticides etc etc and the house is extremely spacious .

The shower in the second bathroom is very small and claustrophobic, we used the other big, modern shower.

Good value, spacious and clean.

The unit was well appointed, clean and spacious. The main lights are available during load shedding.

During load shedding there was no facility to even just boil up a cup of water. Unfortunately I was not aware that the area have many hours of outages, instead of the 2 hour slots I am used to. Much as one is aware that this is something out of the control of the establishment, I would recommend at least having a small gas stove available somewhere.

Great place in Victory Park

Excellent host, Location was great, walking distance from Victory Park center (woolies, dis-cam, Mag&beens) Nice kitchen, good wifi, comfortable rooms.

Load shedding invetor didnt work, but other then that it was great

The hosts were fantastic and helped me out when I had any difficulties. I traveled for surgery and would really recommend the property. It was great being so near to Woolworths and PicknPay

Homely feel

Friendly hosts and inviting atmosphere Quiet environment and nice area Private and was not disturbed with work during the day Centrally located and quick access to shopping center and business hubs The chalet was very comfortable and spacious, had place for me to work during the day

Toilet handle kept getting stuck on flushing Shower is a bit small but is still adequate

This is where you should stay if you want to visit Johannesburg.

Spacious, lovely, clean apartment. Swimming pool. Tranquil private garden with lush vegetation and exotic birds that sing all day. Very safe area to walk around. 2 minutes walk from local shopping mall which has everything you may need. Excellent location, close to Rosebank with great restaurants. Beautiful parks nearby. You won't be afraid of Johannesburg if you stay here. I have visited Johannesburg 15 times and this is the best experience I have had and will stay here whenever I come again. Plus Jamie the proprietor is a top bloke who will help with anything you want. Don't be afraid of visiting Johannesburg. If you stay here you will come back.
