Location and friendliness

The receptionist Cinzia was very friendly and helpful about Vulcano and where to go for lunch evening meal etc. The hotel is very near the beach and also the main street for shops restaurants. The breakfast was nice good quality and decent variety.
5.0
Gorgeous views, best location and friendly staff.
4.5
A very good, clean hotel next to the beach and very close to the restaurants and bars of the island. The staff was very helpful and polite. The lady at the reception was very kind and offered an upgrade of the room which was very nice. Breakfast was very good, the room was spacious with a very nice view to the sea. It is convenient because it is a few minutes walking from the port, but the beach in front of it is very clean.
5.0
It was conveniently located to everything, beaches, restaurants and shops.

Walking distance from port, shops and restaurants and from many beaches. Good value for money. The room was clean and everything functioned well. The breakfast was as expected in a 3-star hotel.
The hotel was a bit run down and the old airco could barely keep the room cool with an outside temperature of 34C. Our room didn’t have a nice view but we didn’t pay for it, so we accepted it.

good location, pleasant staff, clean
It’s too bad but our room had ants. the staff seemed unaware of this and did their best to make it up to us. hopefully the problem has been eliminated.

very pretty hotel, excellent location and virtually private beach just across the road.
lack of towels for the beach. people visit vulcano for the beach, and it was a shame they didn’t have any to use, like other hotels have that are gray or blue and therefore it doesn’t matter if they’re stained. we were advised to buy some at the tourist shop, which of course we didn’t do!

Garden, location
3.0
The location, the room had basic furnishings but everything you need. It was also clean and towels were changed daily.
The hotel needs some maintenance. The grounds and premises have a lot of potential but they are not taken care of and maintained. The breakfast could be improved with fresh coffee rather than coffee from a machine. The hotel is close to the mud bath so there is always quite a strong smell of sulphur.
3.5
Very basic hotel in a perfect location and with good overall impression.
I didn’t get the room I paid for - with no word of explanation. Everything changed the next day after my intervention thank to a very nice and professional receptionist, she changed my opinion about the place for better.

Really nice host, late check out was possible!! So we could climb the volcano in the morning and check out after. Location is perfect, close to port and beach.

Close to the beach, nice breakfast, nice people. Beautiful island, my sister wanted to change the room and they were very helpful and quick in that.
3.5
We stayed one night here before taking ferry in the morning. The location is near by port so it's comfortable if you need to wake up early to catch a boat. For one night is was ok but nothing special. The room was clean, but the design is already old and without any charm. So just don't expect something extraordinary.

Everything was perfect

Nice location
Uncomfortable double bed (they were 2 single beds) and not as clean as we hoped. Sink and fridge didn’t work, rude staff
