Good location, large car park, staff friendly & helpful, good size room. Had very good dinner

Good location with train station and ferry stop close by. Staff generally helpful and friendly on the whole but found the guy who checked us in (manager?) was a bit over familiar and even a bit unprofessional at one point when blaming one of the younger staff for a food order issue in front of hotel guests.

Booked this for an anniversary celebration and found that the place was a bit tired bordering on scruffy on the whole. Our bathroom ceiling had paint peeling from it and a lot of the dining room chairs were worn through and a bit tatty looking. Also had dead flowers on the table when having our evening meal. Not massive issues I know, but leaves a lasting impression that could easily be avoided. Dined there one evening and had breakfast included (although manager disputed this at check-in!) and found food to be very average (rib eye steak tough and gristly, oven chips) with everything we ate coming out barely warm too. On the whole, I wouldn't say it was good value for money and would look elsewhere when back in the Loch Lomond area.

Location to Rail Station. Staff helpful & friendly.

Noise in my room from Beer Garden, each night. Window catch broken, so window wouldn’t open. Luggage rack broken & and unusable. Stains on carpet in bedroom. Bedroom & bathroom floors had not been vacuumed. Tables in room very unstable, due to uneven floor surface. Main table with kettle/cups etc very wobbly. Outside areas of hotel very untidy. Overall…a bit sad and tired and not worth the money.

The manager gave us a reduction on the price of the room and acknowledged it had been a bad experience. She dealt with us fairly.

Room maintenance. Blocked sink, 2nd room offered but it hadn’t been cleaned for a LONG TIME. Public spaces not clean

loved everything about the property, it’s location, the friendly staff , the food and the overall atmosphere.
