Fantastic.

Rooms are clean, great food and most staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Plenty of parking.

One member of staff wasn’t very friendly and he didn’t listen to drinks orders both times we ordered.

Great stay, good location and excellent staff at the hotel.

The location of the Hotel is great on the main road between Doncaster and Bawtry, has ample car parking each room is soundproofed to a high standard and contains all the things that you need for your stay. The rooms are good size and have suitable shower area with toiletries supplied. In the hotel you have the advantage of the Toby Carvery for Lunches, Dinners and of course breakfasts if you need them.

The room was a little bit difficult to get into with the short corridor but this is a minor complaint about the facilities.

The outside of the building 'Badly needs to be painted' and made to look smart.. It looks shabby !!

Couldnt have felt more relaxed!

Everything about the place.staff aim were amazing! Im disabled and one lad in particular did everything he could to make sure i felt ok. When our radiotor stopped working and we immediatatly got upgrade to a huge room with everything. We couldnt have been more comfortable.

Nothing,because the second we had a problem the staff more than rectified it..they upgraded our stay!

Clean, tidy and close to Doncaster centre and racecourse.

The room was clean, bathroom well stocked with shower gel, shampoo and towels. iron and ironing board was a bonus.

At breakfast, we asked at the restaurant for orange juice with our pre-booked breakfast, and were told we had to purchase, £3.50 each x 4 - not good. Apart from that breakfast was standard full English oh no fried egg although advertised on the menu and the boards outside, when asked we were told "sorry there is a problem" and only scrambled were available - didn't find out the problem but all in all food was okay.

excellent stay - beats the Travelodge & Premier inn in the area

good location - friendly welcome from the staff - warm room when I went in - large TV - clean & comfortable- good nights sleep

not such. good choice at breakfast - only scrambled eggs available on the buffet with no fried eggs.

Good value for money.

Bedroom was good size, clean with comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Bar restaurant on site. Good breakfast if required.

Limited choice in restaurant. Unless you're veggie, the only option other than carvery is 1 fish option. Carvery is average, neither best or worst, but no food available after 8pm. Competitors usually serve until at least 10pm & offer many more options. Check in is until 10pm, so if you will arrive later you will have to go out to eat.

room needs repaired more staff needed in evening

room 107 needs to be looked at a really bad draught from the window the bed is right under the window all the paint peeling off badly around the window . checked in on the monday i went for a carvery about 4.40pm i waited about 5-10 mins to be seated and about the same time to pay there was only 2 staff working in the bar . one member of staff was behind the bar serving ,checking people in , and showing people to the tables the other member of staff was serving drinks , seeing to customers , taking payments etc , cleaning tables . i did not complain about the wait these 2 lads were very busy . and kept apologising .

Not enjoyable and I would never recommend anyone to stay, until the hotel improves

The only good thing about my stay was that the bedding and towels were clean. The hotel is badly in need of updating repainting and new carpets fitted, as the current ones are dirty badly stained and in need if cleaning. I only used the dining room for breakfast the food was not of the standard I expected, bacon so over cooked you could not cut it, fried eggs so greasy and overcooked, the only decent food were the sausages. On using the toast machine (for three breakfasts) the same problem occurred every time namely the toast fell out on the counter, and so I felt I was unable to eat it . On the second morning of my stay I drew a member of staff’s attention to the dirt and debris adjacent to the counter where the coffee and tea were available, and I was horrified to see that there was still dirt and debris on the floor. This standard of hygiene is not acceptable and I would hope that the management will improve there quality control so that the hotel guests will get the standards they expect. I will certainly not be staying there again( my reason being it was close to friends) and I certainly could not recommend it to anyone. I do hope that some notice will be made of this constructive criticism and that standards of cleanliness and quality of the breakfasts will improve.

As already stated my room was dirty, walls badly marked and in need of repainting, my shower floor was marked, the carpet needed either replacing or cleaning and the windows behind the bed head, needed one of the cleaning staff to climb up on the bedside cabinet to open it, and I had to have the fan on the whole time of occupancy. In all very disappointed with my stay and certainly I didn’t expect to pay the price I did for the standard of accommodation offered.

Value for money, great staff and did the job for what we needed it for

The staff were amazing.

This is just constructive feedback, but, there was paint peeling off the walls above the bed, ot is easy to top that up, also, there was a funny smell in the bathroom. The bed was also very hard for my liking.

Disappointing

Location and parking. Staff were pleasant.

Bed was ROCK HARD! Might as well have slept on the floor. Restaurant closed at 7pm and the quality was awful for a Toby carvery. Breakfast,, bacon was cremated to the point of hurting my teeth. Sausage was totally under cooked.

Fantastic location for my needs, lovely spacious and clean rooms

lovely spacious rooms, nice and clean.

the beds are awfully uncomfortable. especially the pull out sofa beds. I have stayed in a few different rooms in this hotel and always find the main bed to be extremely hard so I opt for the sofa bed but on this occasion, all I could feel were the bars where the bend in the mattress would be to support it when it’s pulled out. Very unpleasant to sleep in and woke me up several times during each night over the course of my three night stay.

Well-placed for our visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park!

Our room was very clean and well-appointed. The TV was very large and - unlike most hotels I've stayed in the past few years - had a lot of channels and was easy to use with a proper, 'this is what's on now' guide. The bathroom had a fantastic shower with both overhead, "rain" shower and adjustable and hand-held one. Lovely toiletries were supplied. Good tea and coffee supplies and some nice biscuits. Bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast. Staff are really, really friendly and helpful.

It was a very hot day, so not really the hotel's fault, but our room was very hot and airless. They did supply a fan, however.
