De bedden waren erg prettig, hebben heerlijk geslapen.
Het is erg gehorig, maar daardoor geen verstoorde nacht gehad. Rond 23.00 uur is alles rustig in en om het hotel.

That was a good experience! It is close to the city center. Clean and comfy rooms with amazing views. Breakfast was also more than enough good options and delicious. Thank you!
Can be tricky to communicate because the owner is not really good at English however they are really helpful.

Nice and clean and amazing location near the dunes, really friendly staff also and amazing breakfast!
Everything was good, maybe only the extra bed that we asked for on the room for the third person was not that comfortable, but this was really the only thing and the rest was fabulous!

The location is excellent, right next to the dunes and with quick access to the city and beach -- close enough for everything but far enough to benefit from a quiet area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome! The room was quiet, clean and with a nice little terrace outside.
The overall comfort of the hotel is more akin to 2-stars rather than 3. The beds were quite dingy with thin mattresses, always squeaking when turning (also, two single beds put together instead of a queen/king size bed, but that is common in many places). The bathroom was extremely strangely designed -- the shower floor was actually *higher*, which meant all the water naturally flowed into the bathroom; this was made worse by there being no door to close it off, not even a curtain; there were no places to hang towels to dry, leading to the necessity to place them in the room instead; the ventilator was on a kitchen *timer* (never seen that one before) which meant that it could not be used at night...
The terrace was quite nice and one of the highlights of the stay, but it was weirdly small, fenced-in, despite there being ample space around (on the ground floor); also, the two chairs and table were actually part of one *single* fixed unit, which made it impossible to change the angle of the chairs, or move the table around... very, very strange choice of furniture, I don't even understand why something like that exists when two chairs and a table are the most basic of things.
The room itself was nice and quiet, but the entry door unfortunately very thin and not insulated at all, which meant that as soon as other guests started going in and out (especially with loudly barking little... dogs), it became impossible to sleep. Ear plugs recommended!
Last but not least -- there was no WiFi despite it being advertised; the SSID/password combination written in the provided booklet did not even exist, and the other networks available were not accessible. Thankfully, the 4G/mobile signal is strong enough.

Walking distance to the local town - far enough away to be quiet. Great walking and bike paths outside your door. Breakfast was very good. Staff was invisible they way I prefer it.
Pets are OK in the hotel but NOT in the breakfast room. That seems strange. There is seating outside on picnic tables so if the weather is nice this is not a problem.

Clean and comfy room. Lovely breakfast, lots of options. Location is great, very close to the beach and only a short walk to the town centre with restaurants and bars.

The host was amazing. She really did everything to make sure we feel welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Room was not big, but for us with a little child sufficient with a nice terrace. We really enjoyed our 3 days at the island. We liked the fact that the hotel was within walking distance from the main street - yet at the same time not where everybody else is.
There was not much, really. Small things in the room require a repair, but are taken care of (i.e. lamp was not working but another one was provided). I believe the biggest criticism is that there is very little noise insulation so you hear other guests a lot...

Everything was great! I warmly recommend this hotel! Very nice and pleasant people from the staff, rooms cosy and clean, great service and room facilities, lovely breakfast. The location is also great: 10 min walking from beaches, very close to city center. Hope to return one day to the same hotel!

Good breakfast! To bad COVID measures don’t allow you to eat at a proper diningtable.
Further more both Texel and Duinhotel are worth visiting!
Nothing the hotel had reached it’s summit.

The breakfast saved the stay
Having to pay extra for our dog, nobody there when we arrived (had to wait half an hour), and beds not at all comfortable as a double bed (big crack in the middle). Ice cold bathroom. Very noisy in the morning as people were having dogs, babies and conversations outside our poorly insulated door.
