It was very quiet and set in a lovely area

Good position in the town with parking.
Lovely room .
Great Breakfast . Lovely ingredients and excellently cooked.
Disappointed that there was no evening meal available . Seems the kitchen doesn’t open in the evening so the bar of course wasn’t really used either .
The staff recommended a couple of restaurants and we went to the Turkish restaurant nearby La De Kitchen- which was very good .
4.5
Excellent location in pleasant surroundings
As OAP visitors, having to climb up to the second floor in the town house was a little tiring, particularly when carrying luggage.

Room was faultless and beat was excellent for us. Only issue was the location away from the hotel but in the town house away from the main hotel. Beautiful as it was we were situated behind the main door and next to the street which disturbed us when people came in and out; neither could we open the window but a fan was provide which helped. Apart from the location of room 21 everything would have been 5 stars. .
Position of room 21 away is in the town house and away from the hotel, next to the street and feeling we were not good enough for the hotel. As this room was on street level meant we could not open the window and was stifling during that hot weather even with a fan.

Great location. Lovely breakfast and tge room was beautiful.

Quiet, central location. Beautiful period building tastefully decorated, new dining annex with outside seating surrounded by an attractive garden.
Roomy well equipped bedroom and bathroom. Friendly staff. Good extensive breakfast menu.
4.5
Lovely room, in a nice area of Hereford. The dining area maximizes the amazing view with extremely large windows enabling you to watch the ducks go by as you eat your eggs! We were all lucky enough to have a small patio area affording us the same views.
4.5
Comfortable bed, mini fridge in room, selection of snacks.
Steep stairs to room (in the Townhouse, no lift). Window rattled a bit when wind blew. Room a bit on the small side.

Lovely fires,
Bed was very uncomfortable, no evening meals due to staff shortages

Well appointed, comfy, great location
I booked 3 rooms, a suite, a junior suite and an ordinary room. The ordinary room was rather small for two people. ideal for one.
4.5
Lovely location, environment, very welcoming staff, high quality service, tasteful decor, excellent breakfast, silent fridge in room, quiet and clean. Wonderful to hear the cathedral clock!
I’m very glad to have a proper fire extinguishing system, but the Green light which shone down from it from the ceiling was so bright and covered such a large part of the room, it was very hard to sleep. A shame when proper blackout curtains were in place!

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming. The hotel is furnished to a high standard and is kept immaculately clean. The breakfast included in the price of the room was one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel. The hotel location is great to get around the centre of Hereford while still having some piece and quiet.

important for me - sustainability and use of their local farm produce - lovely staff especially cleaning team who were fun , great location , perfect room and great tea by a log fire . easy free parking near by.

the atmosphere of the building was amazing, and the location was also lovely. Our room was on the top floor facing the front and we had the most wonderful view from our windows. Cozy and welcoming but luxurious too.

The location. The main hotel looked lovely
The room was very small. Not being part of the hotel was poor, no easy access to amenities. I did not like getting drenched going to breakfast. An alarm going off in the early hours was awful with no reason why. The extremely noisy plumbing that wakes you whenever anyone uses their bathroom, everyone's bath and showers are really, really bad. Bathroom needs some work and the bath is very high to step into. No separate shower so you have to attempt it.

Breakfasts excellent - service a bit slow at times. Early breakfast on Sunday much appreciated.
4.5
Fabulous location and excellent service from staff. It was very conveinient to have parking available for our stay and we can highly recomend the breakfast.
Lack of air conditioning in rooms although a fan was provided. Also early morning noise from delivery and refuse van but this was due to our room being located over the front entrance.
4.5
Breakfast was excellent good food choice good quality produce well presented
Rooms were hot during stay no air conditioning we were given fans and we do understand that it was unusually hot weather

The extra touches made our stay all the more special
It was clean, comfortable, great location, and our room was ready early allowing us to check in before we should!

Breakfast was good and fresh with good cooked options.
Location very central but in a nice area.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast options would benefit from more buffet options like fruit and yogurts and pastries.
Breakfast/lunch staff weren't too helpful and a bit unfriendly. They seemed understaffed.

All the staff were superb. Breakfast was great. Very nice single room. It was an exceptionally hot weekend and there was no air conditioning but the sash windows opened wide and there was a table fan which kept me cool. Lovely old building close to the centre of Hereford and 100 yds from the cathedral.
