Fint hotell, vackra omgivningar o trevlig personal

Nice style/architecture right on the water.staff was polite and multi lingual. Food in the restaurant was good and fairly priced. The suite was nicely decorated.
We had the suite. It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan in the room. It was very hot in the room and the hallways. A box of Kleenex should have been provided along with washcloths for the price being charged.

Great hotel, great staff. All were very friendly and helpful.
Great diner and fantastic breakfast.
Fantastic view behind the hotel at the water and mountains. We spent only one night, because we were travelling further north the next day.

Quiet with a lovely location.
Great evening meal.

Free charging of Tesla. When charging stopped unexpectedly, staff was very helpful in fixing the problem. Good location on our way to Kristiansand.
Breakfast was a little underwhelming.

A thoroughly excellent hotel for everything: staff, food, services etc.

The hotel is close Rv9 but still very quiet.
It was nice to have a balcony and the staff in the hotel and especially at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming.
The food at the restaurant was delicious.
It was a good place to stay for one night during our journey through Setesdalen.

Stuff, location, cleanliness, food.

Rooms were nice and functinoal but small. Bathroom shower fixtures and soap dispenser were hard to use. Clean and comfortable and the staff bent over backwaards to accomodate late arrival due to multiple construction road projects.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful.
3.5
Nicely situated by the water and to visit the fantastic road and surrounding scenery to Lysebotn, room with balcony
Furniture and electrical room installations partly delapidated, maintenance missing, balcony could not be used/window not opened in the evening due to strong odours from kitchen exhaust air

wonderful view

Interesting hotell combined with a silversmith handicraft.
Thre weather when we enjoyed our balcony.

Very good hotel, easy to find and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both of a high standard. Would stay again.
Only niggle was that one of the beds in a three bed room was tucked away in a niche with very low head height - you can imagine what happened more than once.
4.0
Free parking, possibility of having a late dinner (until 9 pm), easy and reliable wifi access

The staff is very nice and helpful. Nice room with a balcony, beside a lake. Restaurant is fantastic!

Loved the nature. The mountains. The dinner was very good.
Could have been more for breakfast.

The food at the restaurant was good.
I though the cabins and camping was too close to the hotel. The level of loudness is much bigger at a camping than at a hotel and we woke up several times during the night from people in the cabins. It seemed like that level of partying was completely different than the wedding party and guests at the hotel.

The place is a Disney version of a Norwegian farm mansion, with the charm of an airport business hotel inside. Staff ranged from indifferent to rude. Food was good though.

A friendly countryside hotel with a camping site as well. Nice positive young local staff with fluent Norwegian language. Helpful with car charging and recommendations. Gave a good first impression. Good food in the restaurant with good local food. Organised COVID-19 breakfast routine, worked well.
Room was not classy in any way. Could do with a makeover. Functional and clean. Our view was out to the back which meant no view.
