It is an excellent, chalet facility, cosy, warm and in an excellent position. Hosts appeared to be friendly although we didn’t meet. Highly recommended.
Shower not on a mixer so took a wee bit to get the temperature right. Not a detractor overall.

Staff were welcoming, accommodating and engage well with guests. Arrived earlier to Wanaka than anticipated and were able to access the park early and use it.

Was a little dark inside, sometimes could hear people upstairs.

Good location. Large enough space.
Wasn’t as clean as it could be. Found a packet of cigarettes in there. When we entered the property, it was like a greenhouse in temperature. Needs the air-con put on prior to arrival.
The sofa bed was broken, and rubbish under the sofa.

privately owned property and they doing every possible effort to make guest stay comfortable
they charged us couple of days in advance but I was expecting to pay at the counter during the time of check-in

excellent location
bedrooms were ridiculously small, not enough room to open a small case in either no where to put any clothes at all without stepping over them outside bedrooms in the lounge bit of a joke .

I rarely give Neg comments but This is a terrible place to stay ! whoever sees this comment pls think twice before you book this place . it will ruin your holiday and this place is a shame to such a beautiful country like NZ. staff are extremely rude ! They charged my credit card without any valid reason and without my authority.
This is an extremely terrible place to stay! whoever sees this comment pls think twice before you book this pace . staff are extremely rude and they charged my credit card without any valid reason and without my authority! I don’t think they are doing this legally ! you won’t get fair treatment with them. I had travelled around the world and this is the worst place I ever stayed and it’s such a shame to such a beautiful country like NZ!

Excellent location, a few minutes' walk from the restaurants and shops, from our apartment there was an amazing view of the lake and the mountains, a fully equipped kitchen, the owner of the place is very nice, she recommended things to do

Amazing location and view. Walking distance to grocery store, town centre and that Wanaka Tree. Great water pressure in shower. Separate room for storing skis/snowboards. Parking onsite.
Probably need some storage space for dry pantry goods.

The motel is well within walking distance to many very good restaurants, the cinema and lake front. The owner Pip was exceptional. If your looking for inspiration Pip knows the area very well.
Nothing.

This older-style motel room was tastefully renovated with a touch of mid-century. The living area was a nice space with spectacular views (we were in a front apatrtment). The bed was comfy and the kitchenette & bathroom adequate.
The cupboard in the bedroom should go and peg hangers on wall and/or cubes for storage as it was difficult navigating around the end of the bed in the night.

The location was good, check in was easy even though reception was closed. Everything was very clean and tidy. Decor was pleasant.
The room was more compact than we expected for the price, compared to other places we have stayed on this holiday.

We were a party of two adults and three kids and stayed in the three-bedroom unit for nearly two weeks for a skiing vacation. The unit was clean and well presented. The cooking facilities were fine. We made good use of the drying room for ski gear and the laundry. Pip is a great manager and keen to provide tips for eating out and sightseeing. All in all, an excellent value motel.

Location and views were good. Beds were comfortable and the kitechen well-appointed.
It was a 2 bedroom unit, but bedrooms and living areas were very small. We had to spread out our four suitcases around the common living area as there was not enough room in the bedrooms.

Location was great, quick easy walk into the main street of Wanaka.
Contactless check in was not communicated before arriving. The owner greeted us grumpily when rung to say we had arrived.
The room did not look like the pictures. The bedrooms were absolutely tiny with no place to keep suitcases.
The owner must have a dog, because there was constant barking from the main house.
No daily room service, so we ran out of toilet paper quickly with 3 ladies.
There was only a small 2 seater couch and an uncomfortable bench seat in the lounge, for a 4 person room.

Within walking distance of the town center. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
Great facilities.
Very friendly staff.
Apart from having to open and close bedroom door to get around the bed it was great.

Great room and view. Staff presence was intentionally minimal which was quite new for us but also made the experience a lot more homely. Loved it.
