We couldn't cook in a pot because there wasn't 1, kitchen was very basic just 2 elements and a microwave, fridge had such a wobble the door stuck into the floor every time you opened it
Needs a big update for the price, carpet warn out on stairs holes in stair walls no couch just 2 uncomfortable chairs, blinds that were broken

The location is awesome!
The furniture looks old

Location was good. Close to beach and shopping facilities. We sourced breakfast from a local restaurant which was friendly and very clean.
Close to shops and other amenities.
The room could have had something different than the dividing blinds between lounge and bedroom.

Amazing accomodation, was everything we needed will definitely stay again. The villas were both beautiful, clean, and spacious. Thank you for letting us check in early during a busy time.

Proximity was right where u wanted to be, which meant we walked everywhere. The fact we had a spa pool was great, the bed was very comfy and the rooms were spacious.
No staff, only saw the man who booked us in when we got there, unit was not cleaned nor rubbish bins emptied or supplies refreshed. $900 for 3 nights stay, the most expensive we have ever been in. Purchased our own toilet rolls etc and emptied the bins and washed dishes. The spa bath had not been cleaned properly as scum on the sides were still there before we used it. Of course we cleaned it before using it.no where to sit outside by your unit as it was at the side of the property. Great balconies on the front units if you were lucky enough to get one of those, I expect these were more expensive?

The ground floor studio is a large size and has a small, basic kitchenette with a sink and 2 stovetop elements for simple cooking. The bed is large (wider than King Size) and the en suite is a good size too. Great to have the air conditioner as Napier can get very hot in summer. The location is superb, across the road from the lovely attractions along the Esplanade and a fairly easy walk to the main shopping/cafes street.
The decor is getting somewhat tired.
The prices were inflated for the Xmas holiday time. It cost us about $280 per night which is about $100 per night more expensive than usual.

Napier in general. Hotel great location

the layout of the rooms, the spa, the kitchenette, the bathroom, having a TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge, that the kitchenette was separate from the lounge, that it was located on the ground floor, the location

Location was as expected
I clearly booked on the premise that we're getting a sea facing room as written on Booking.com website but we got a city facing room...disappointed

Location was perfect for our requirement
Single beds were uncomfortable. Outdated decore with chalk marks up the walls in that room ..Toilet wasn't as clean as I'd expect. Carpet was severally marked in the lounge area.
The shower over a spa bath was not only short but dangerous to get in and out of .
Wet tiles outdoors also a hazard.
I'm sure cleaners do the best they can with what they have to work with I really feel for them having to manually carry heavy baskets of linen around large complex..big thumbs up for them ..
Outrageous price for age and condition of room.
My daughter and I won't be recommending shoreline to anyone which is sad really as Napier is my home town..

Great location, friendly staff, clean & comfortable, enjoyed the spa bath, curtains actually closed properly.
Decor getting a little tired but I guess it’s been a rough couple of years for the operators. The outside table could do with moss removal.

Nice view. Lovely big unit. Lovely and clean.

There were no problems.
The unit although clean was a little tired. Because of current staff shortages there was no option for a Breakfast.

The proximity to everything and the staff

location and the whole room and spa just beside the bed was perfect.

Loved the indoor jet bath, and the staff were very commodating to our needs!
Unfortunately the room didn't smell clean, unsure if it had been just shut up for a while or if had been smoked in before. And thin walls! We were kept up all night by loud music next door, will remember to bring ear plugs next time :)

Room was awesome, and really got what I expected. Just cleanliness was a little bit of an issue. Hair on basin, a toilet roll that was3/4 used on toilet handle. I’ve never experienced this at accomodation before. Also was another spare full toilet roll that had tissue from another roll stuffed in the centre of it. Again never seen this before. Otherwise enjoyed the stay. Thanks
