The location is great, close to the train/bus station and all the center. A tiny cozy place with an amazing view.

The hotel is on a small hill so the view is perfect. You can see the beautiful and magnificent mountains if you have a sunny day. The room is spaceful and big enough for two people with two big suitcases. By the way the kitchen is functional so we can prepare food by ourselves and don’t need to eat outside..which is so expensive..
You need to climb for a period of time to arrive the hotel. When you are carrying suitcases, it would be a little bit difficult to get there. Foutunately, the hotel provides free pick-up service from the train station to their place.

Great spacious studio

Well equipped with the necessities. Very clean and tidy.
Location is a bit on a high slope to walk. And no wifi in the master room.

Arrival was easy and helpful at the hotel reception next door. As an apartment, it is nice to cook at home sometimes (with easy shopping at the nearby Coop store). Parking is easy. Friendly reception is helpful for advice.
It's a bit of a hike up the steep hill from the main street if you walk around the town. The large 2 BR apartment is an older, 80's Chalet style - so nothing fancy and new (except the excellent multi-function oven).

The staff is friendly can give me great advise on the transportation. The apartment is clean & spacious. We have spectacular views right in front of our apartment. You can enjoy ur meal with the stunning views. Morning get to see sheep just beside the apartment slope.
As this apartment is on a slope, we arranged hotel shuttle service to send us & our luggages to train station (subject to availability so book 1 day in advance).
Actually the apartment is not far from the train station just that there is very steep slope to get to. But after walking for 2 days u will find the slope manageable.
There is shortage of bowls & cutlery; i.e bigger knife for cutting meat / veg. The host should provide better knife as this is a self-contained unit.
Apartment is on a very steep slope so it is abit of problem push heavy luggages up the slope, so suggest either arrange taxi (cost CHF 15-20) or check with hotel can provide shuttle service.

Spacious and well equipped accommodation. Not forgetting the beautiful mountain view that we get to enjoy everyday.
Though the location is near the bus and train station, the steep slope to the accommodation can be quite challenging. It was especially difficult on the day to check in as we had to push 3 heavy luggages upward. Might not be suitable for those who have mobility difficulties. Nonetheless, it is worth the effort for a beautiful balcony view.
We were not informed that we had a complimentary extra night after booking.

Location to Coop & First, views of Alps, quite outdoors, size & uncluttered of studio 2. Miele frig with enough room to make trays of ice.
Needs more kitchen ware (cutting knives, baking trays, glass drink ware).

There is a skiroom in the basement of the hotel.
You can park right in front of the hotel, but the way to the parking is very steep. If it had just snowed, you should use chains.
The snow on the parking is activly cleaned.
The view over Grindelwald / at the mountains is amazing!
I should have read the room was only 10m². There is no room for storing a suitcase. Maybe if the bed was a little bit higher there would be more space created. There is no real closet. There is room for a few coat hangers, but that's all.
So the single room in the chalet is small. When you're in bed, you're feet are touching the curtains. They should have put the curtains júst before the windows instead of 30cm before. This is also a loss of space.
If you sit on the toilet, you are also sitting right against the heating radiator.
I couldn't get the heating of the bathroom working.
For a 100 CHF cleaning fee, it should sparkle of cleanyness. I don't pay for the one staying after me, I pay for my own stay. Yes the floor and kitchen were relativly clean, but still I could discover some long hairs. The glass door of the bathroom wasn't super clean. The cutlery looked like it was left drying in the air in stead of dried with a towel. Maybe the previous guest did it his way, but again for, 100 CHF I expect top very very shiny knives and forks.

Location was great minus the hill climb.
There was an odd smell emitted by the studio, we had to leave the door open for a few minutes every so often.

The view from the little garden right outside the room is absolutely stunning! Check in was easy and the staff super friendly. Perfect location with an easy walk in Grindelwald.
As with many self catering places the dishwashing supplies and toilet roll are limited. It didn’t really affect us but I wish they would all supply more.

The view from the room was absolutely fantastic. The room spacious, with a big bed and a couch. The kitchenette had everything needed. The bathroom was good sized and clean. It was a wonderful stay.
We had to pull our (big) luggage on some stone stairs. But it can't be helped, as our room was at the smaller hotel beside the main one and built on a hillside, only those stairs connecting the parking lot to the room's door. Lucky though because the room was at ground floor.

I rented the garden studio ground floor. Lovely garden with grass area and absolutely stunning view. Really good modern kitchen area including dishwasher and hob. Spotlessly clean and modern bathroom. Reasonable amount of storage space.
The mattress was a bit hard. cupboards with no doors means it can look a bit cluttered but this is very minor

Perfect location, spacious apartment and fantastic view. Has all the facilities you need in a self catered apartment in the mountains.
As others have said, cleaning fee is additional, but it wouldn’t stop me staying again.
5.0
The view. The staff. The quiet location.
It was so perfect that I cannot think of anything to improve it
