The staff are great , very helpful and always going the extra step for you. Also the location is very central which makes it very convenient for those coming for a short trip. The hotel is simple, easily connected and has a nice ambience. The hotel room was clean and the hotel is very clean.
The TV was not working really well during my whole stay and it took time for them to come and try to fix it. They told me unfortunately it wont be able to work during your stay which made me unhappy. There was also a weird smell in the room which I commented about and no one did anything about it which frustrated me for a bit. I would have wished for someone to help with that as I was staying for a week.
However I would like to note that due to the amazing team at the front desk I was ok with alot of things.

Lovely room, the staff were slightly cold if I am honest and I found the restaurant options limited vs the way it is advertised.
The staff could have been more friendly and the service in the restaurant more attentive.

This is our second time at the Al Mashreq hotel. The hotel is located very well in western Riyadh fairly close to Diriyah. We stayed for 3 nights and had 2 rooms to accommodate our family. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were the best - very helpful and welcoming. We appreciated the valet parking in the hotel's private section of the underground garage. The breakfast is outstanding with lots of variety.
The ppol and gym are only open to men; no women. This is surprising considering Vision 2030 goals; plenty of time as passed for the hotel to adjust these old patterns (for example, at least have alternating time slots). The entrance to the garage had been reconfigured since our last stay. Since we had been to the hotel before, we knew how to access it. If it is your first time, the entrance might be difficult to find. It is immediately after you turn off Prince Turki Road onto Al Urubah Road. Contrary to Google Maps, you cannpt access it by driving straight down Al Urubah Road. We understand that the hotel has been bought by Hilton Hotels - that is a shame. We love the uniqueness of these small boutique hotels.

The property was very well decorated, comfortable and had very nice breakfast options.
They woke me up at 11 p.m. night as the laundry team put someone else's shirts in my room while I was out. This was not a pleasant experience.

The gym is very good and the swimming pool.
I booked a junior suit room and the layout was bad and the view was on a bridge of a highway (bad view) plus the noise of the cars from the highway.
The hotel used to be a five star and it got the the degaded 4 star and the restaurant still charge the food based on five star hotel!!!!!!!..

A very nice boutique hotel that I have been staying at for many years. Good and friendly team complemented by a wonderful hospitality desk serving nice dates, Arabic coffee and water. The new entrance from basement level and overall accessibility of hotel are no longer the same. Also breakfast was much better in the past.
The smell in both the 1st and 2nd floors is mot nice which has been an issue since many years.
