The hotel feels more like a very large, modern home than a purpose-built hotel. As travelers we felt at home and the host made us feel at home. More importantly, our room was beautifully furnished and very modern. Throughout the home/hotel there was beautiful art the common areas were beautifully furnished.
Special thanks to the host, Alain, who waited for us despite our unexpectedly late arrival (due to a road closure) and even had the chef make a masterful dinner for us.

This beautiful lodge is in a spectacular location. Alain and Gael are wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed Gael’s fabulous cooking every evening. We were treated like honoured guests and felt very well looked after. They really are very caring and helpful in any way they can be.
The house itself is a very interesting place to stay, with fascinating artwork and interior design.
Although the sauna is lovely, it only accommodates two people and so there has to be some polite waiting after ski-time and it is not always available exactly when you want it. The outdoor hot-tub is in a lovely spot with amazing views of the mountains, but a little cooler than we would have chosen. These are minor points though and did not detract from our enjoyment of the fabulous property, although I would not really describe Mineral Lodge as a Spa.
We would probably not recommend this location for less than confident skiers as the runs back down to the village can be difficult. The skiing was also quite limited in poor weather when the higher lifts were closed.

beautiful design of the property, interesting owner who prepared for us an excellent dinner. remote location.

Everything, the room we had was beautiful and clean. We also chose the option to eat dinner at the lodge, which we didn't regret the food is nice and home cooked with local ingredients.

Excellent guest house in the nice place. The house is very stylish with lots of art installations. Common spaces are very spacious. Very welcoming, intelligent and helpful host.
Air conditioning was functioning in common spaces but not in the rooms. Slow internet.

Excellent hosts and very good level of English spoken and understood. The building and décor is just magnificent with many original pieces of artwork. The building itself is a fantastic design. The meal in the evening is up to top restaurant standards and the wine just sublime. Bathroom functions well and the rainfall shower is great. Lovely towels provided. Owner provided us with a space in the garage for our motorbike without charge. Location for lifts if you wanted them is just minutes away. I'm sure it would be an excellent choice for a large group during the ski season.
Heated towel rail started off working but switched itself off or stopped for some reason unknown to us. The room was a little cold as I couldn't get the heating to work, but if you're stopping for more than a night or in the winter I'm sure they would get it working if you asked. TV not up to hotel standards if you're a TV fan. No room key provided ??

Beautiful location
Room wasn't the cleanest and strong smell of bleach.

The bed and the linen were good.
The building is interesting in modern design.
Very remote location, that forces you to have dinner at the premises. The food is mediocre and not worth its cost.
Multilevel room, very uncomfortable.
They did not basic guesthouse facilities such as a kettle, glasses, shampoo.

The room was big, clean and comfy. Meals are prepared with extra care, ingredients straight out of the Lodge's garden next door - perfect! Most importantly, the hosts are very kind and friendly, helpful in every way and they put an awful lot of effort into making your stay a special one. The surrounding scenery is reathtaking. You might feel a bit lonely up on the mountain but in these busy time that's exactly what you should be looking for. We had an absolut awesome time in the Mineral Lodge.

Superb stay, the pictures don’t don justice. The most beautiful architecture and a surprise sauna in the house.
It was perfect.

Staying at Mineral Lodge was all we hoped for and more. Alain did everything possible to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Either him or Gaël were always on hand whenever we needed anything and went out of their way from the moment we arrived until the moment we left to ensure we were well looked after. The box of local handmade chocolates we were presented with on departure was also a lovely and very welcome touch.
The Lodge itself is an amazing building. The architecture is modern contemporary, and full of interesting modern artwork, furniture, and artefacts, but with a very homely feel about the place. Whether it be walking down from our room for breakfast in the morning, or walking in after a long day on the slopes, we were always greeted with the smell of freshly cooked food and a cheerful welcome. As others have pointed out, Alain and Gaël are highly skilled chefs, and so everything we ate during our stay was of the highest quality and reasonably priced. We ate out a few nights but found ourselves eating in most nights because of how nice the food was and how convenient it was to stay in. Everywhere, including our room, was clean and well kept as expected.
Our favourite feature was the outdoor jacuzzi, situated in a private area behind the lodge which was always available every day during our stay and was rarely used by the other guests, meaning that we could enjoy the uninterrupted stunning views of the surrounding mountains. This was one of the main reasons we booked to stay at Mineral Lodge and it didn't disappoint.
The only thing to note, again as others have mentioned, the ski runs down to Le Pre/Villaroger and Mineral Lodge are challenging in good snow conditions, and very challenging in icey conditions (we experienced both) for anyone at or below intermediate level.
All in all we had an amazing time staying at Mineral Lodge, and we will definitely stay here again if we/when we return to Les Arcs in the future.
