The breakfast was ample providing a good choice
This was our first visit. Everything was to our liking.

Our room was exceptional. The bathroom was huge and very clean. The staff in Penrhiw were very mannerly and pleasant, especially Hannah whom we saw on a couple of days and her knowledge of Penrhiw and the local area was very helpful. The continental breakfast was also excellent. The priory was a mere 10 minute walk into the city centre which was ideal as we wanted to park the car and walk to local places of interest.

The whole aspect of quietness and comfort.
I liked everything.

It was quiet with lovely views. We had a large, comfortable bed and spacious room and shower. The communal lounge was also very comfortable.
A toilet on the ground floor would have been useful. It is a strenuous walk from anywhere else.

Great location, beautifully refurbished, comfortable bed, lovely room, traditional with a modern twist, great attention to detail, lovely artwork, pretty gardens, friendly and helpful staff
Everything was excellent

We were accommodated for a last-minute night away at a very reasonable price. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations - classy, comfortable, peaceful, and with very warm and friendly staff. The grounds and views are beautiful and St David's is a short walk (5 - 10 min)
away.
There are no staff on site overnight (this didn't bother us), but they can be contacted at the sister hotel a couple of miles away. There is an "honesty bar" you can use for drinks. Room facilities are excellent, including quality tea, and a coffee maker.
We would love to visit again soon for another battery recharge!
Check in was at another site, this didn't worry us too much, but might be difficult if you don't have a car.

Penrhiw Priory is a stunning building with only a handful of rooms - only two of them were occupied when we stayed in March so it was lovely and quiet and we were the only ones using the sitting room! It was really lovely to have a lounge and study to use so we weren't confined to our room when indoors. The location is also fabulous with some lovely walks straight from the front door, and there is a bar and snacks in the dining room that you can add onto your tab which is very useful. It definitely exceeded our expectations and we will return!
The only thing we didn't realise is that although the continental breakfast is served at the Priory, if you want a full english you need to pay a supplement and go to the sister hotel in St Davids. We did this every morning and it was definitely worth it, but something to be aware of!

Top quality and calm location/house, lovely room/bathroom and facilities. Staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming.
only very slight niggle in that the electricity went off on the morning of our departure but it didn't detract from quality of our stay overall

Fabulous place, excellent location close to St David’s and the Cathedral. Staff were great, service was excellent and meals in the restaurant were amazing (the main hotel was a 5 mins drive away or 20 mins walk) but we’ll worth a visit.
Staff at Penrhiw Priory serving morning breakfast were delightful
Nothing to dislike

Our host, Alison was excellent, all of the team at the Penrhiw went beyond expectations, nothing was too much for them. Exceptional service and commitment to a very high standard of hospitality.

Beautiful premises and location and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely experience!
All was great.

the location felt remote and tranquil and yet was just a 10 minute walk from St David’s. there had been a lot of thought put into the design of the property. Every little feature and detail had been thoroughly thought through. It really felt like a retreat, an escape from the world.
Absolutely everything; location, ambience, cleanliness, quality of finish…. I could go on.

A beautiful old priory building steeped in history and charm. Very peaceful setting yet within easy reach of St David’s, the cathedral and Whitesands. Staff were exemplary - a warm welcome was extended and nothing was too much trouble. A thoroughly enjoyable stay! We will be back.

Breakfast was pretty good and room very comfortable. Location excellent for pottering into town and a short drive to the beach
The decor is a bit odd or too modern for our taste. The price was high, considering what you get, but still we had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed ourselves

Breakfast was good.
it would have been nice to be able to just go to the bar and sit in the lovely grounds and have a drink. however, it just seemed to be too much of a hassle to do this.
