Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Quiet neighbourhood, no barking dogs to keep you up at night.
The location of the place is fantastic, very close to the national parks of Talampaya and Ischigualasto.
The room was spatious, however the bed could have been a bit bigger for me. Im a large person though and so I have experienced the same issue across the whole country. Also I found the door lock was a bit old and worn down, had some trouble to open the door at times.

Convenient overnight stay between the nearby national parks. Nice small garden with seating outside.
WiFi was not great - had to sit outside the cabana. A bit out of town - need transport. Sufficient but not great.

Room was well-equipped and as described, with two stories with kitchen downstairs and two single and one double bed upstairs. Heater both downstairs and upstairs (but heater only in room with the single beds, not the double). But blankets were plenty warm for the near-freezing weather. All stuff is old but usable.
Was a bit shocked when the manager lady slammed on the door at 10:30 to say she would have to charge me a half day if I don't check out right away. It took me a while to figure out that the listing DOES indeed say 10:00am checkout, which I wasn't expecting since I generally see 11 or 12 in other properties. Why don't they just choose 11 like so many other properties? I was happy to check out immediately, but the whole process was rather unfriendly. It is possible she specifically pointed this out to me the night before, but that leads to the second problem...I would not recommend staying here if your Spanish is as bad as mine. The manager lady does not speak English but will just go on in full-speed Spanish expecting me to understand, whether or not I have my Google Translate set up (note there is no 3G/LTE/... internet in this town, so you can't use Google Translate without WiFi and you can't use WiFi until you've gone through the check-in process, by which point you don't need it any more, sigh). WiFi unit is in the garden and so the signal is so-so in the rooms. All the kitchen and bathroom fixtures work but are fidgety (dripping water, etc.) and definitely need an update to higher-end hardware. A few other small things almost broken (window in bathroom hard to close due to bent barrel bolt, for example). This town is chock full of accommodation: there are probably better options for non-Spanish-speakers. I can sympathize with the manager lady's frustration, as she must get endless guests who only stay overnight and don't speak Spanish and don't get the rules like the checkout time, so perhaps another place would give both of you a smoother experience.

The staff is friendly but note that they don't speak English, so it's handy if you speak some Spanish. There is a water boiler in the room so you can make tea.
The place is quite outdated, it needs maintenance. You get what you pay for, don't expect too much.
Breakfast is very basic, it's brought to the room the night before and consists of 2 small breads, jam, coffee and tea for two people.
Payment is cash only.
