L'amabilité du personnel, les locaux rénovés en grande partie, le rapport qualité/prix pour un hôtel à cet emplacement
L'insonorisation assez légère en général

Dear all,
We are contacting you to express our dissatisfaction with our stay at the hotel (ime hotel). We stayed in the hotel for 6 days. We would like to request a 50% refund. The fact that the room is extremely small and old, we expected, but also at the other side we didn't, because the price per night is 180 €, and for that, it is truly too high and not usual. We also did not expect that for that price, the room does not have air conditioning, but we accepted that as well.
But, the other thing and the big problem is in the bathroom. There, in the shower you can choose only extremely hot or extremely cold water! This is not ok! Also, there is a draft under the bathroom door, as if you are standing outdoors in an extremely strong wind, and we have not experienced that in our life, as guests of many hotels! The aforementioned resulted in a cold and medication. But even that is not the real reason for the complaint, but the real reason for our appeal to you is that, although the room has been paid in this season, we repeat three times more than its regular price of the same, such that the wall of the room is right next to the elevator and we are not even one, we slept for 6 nights, but we woke up dozens of times in the night and looked like zombies in the morning. All of the above contributed to a terrible experience at the hotel (ime hotela), and we really wonder if it is really possible, we paid three times more than the average price for a room, we deserved the worst possible room in the hotel?
We kindly ask you to consider this application of ours and to refund us in the amount of 50% to our account.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Krešimir Mudronja

The room was quite large, very neat and clean. We had a private bathroom, which was also clean. Clean towels were provided. There was a lift to the higher floors, and it was a short walk from the metro.
The window didn't close properly, which made the traffic outside even louder, but it was ok at night time. The room would have benefited from a kettle.
Our room and bathroom was lovely, but we did see the toilet and shower for the rooms with shared bathroom and these looked very dirty - we were glad we had our own, and the mixed reviews of the hotel suddenly made sense. I would return to the hotel, but only if booking a private bathroom.

should have an early check in
4.0 / 10.0
Staff were helpful and location was not far from the large conference centre.
The hotel is old and needs a big renovation to make it feel clean again.
The elevator makes a lot of noise and the rooms have pretty bad sound isolation so I kept waking up during the night as guests were coming in and out.

The Staff (person at the reception offered service with a smile)
the room was very noisy at night. you could hear the elevator every time some used it and the neighbors flushing their toilet and talking. The bathroom had a sewerage waste smell but it was ok as long as the door was closed

The smell comming from the bathroom was inpleasant sometimes, due to the sewage system and every night, people outside were quite loud.

We went to another 'Hotel Luxor' first, mistakenly, in nearby Vanves, now closed down, but the with sign still up in the street, which Google maps and Google Earth both sent us to. It looked a bit delapidated so I was relieved it wasn't ours, but had to work out which one was the right hotel Luxor, and where to go from there. A little girl had opened the door nad couldn't help us. We had to walk twenty five minutes from there to 'our' hotel Luxor, We found it, and when I told the man at reception about the confusion, he said it was my fault, I should have put in the street address on google maps. The customer is not always right, but in this case however, he could have been a little sympathetic, even apologised for our having to walk so long, and done something to make sure a defunct hotel by the same name in the same area be taken off Google Maps...But I suppose that is the Parisian way.
