The room size is fantastic. The lagoon room was a beautiful setting, tranquil with lovely gardens. Very serene & reminiscent of Bali holiday vibes. Breakfast was great. Check in staff lovely.
Unfortunately I think the hotel is overdue for a refurb. It was a little smoke & mirrors. You walk into that lobby & it looks beautiful. But when taking a deeper dive things just needed maintenance & modernisation. I think for the premium price you pay you do expect a little more.

A pleasure in fact
The Resort is looking tired.
Definitely not Sheraton standard, except for price!

We had high hopes of our stay, staff at reception and all round were lovely, . Breakfast was amazing though, and grounds where exceptional.
Our room smelt of mould, couldn't get a dinner reservation until 2000hrs, ate dinner elsewhere

Our room location was amazing. Ground floor overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Pool area is great as there are so many umbrellas and lots of shade. Breakfast buffet was fabulous as always. Big shout out to Valentina the chef. Her omelettes are to die for, and she is so friendly and welcoming.
Please take what I am writing below as constructive criticism, as we do love the Sheraton, but it definitely wasn't up to scratch this visit...... Upon arrival there was linen bags in the hallways that sat there for hours, and they actually started to smell. Pool bar service on Sunday afternoon 24/11 was terrible. Drinks didn't come and when my husband enquired the young woman staff member was quite rude when answered that they had been busy. We ended up cancelling our order but that didn't get put through (reception later fixed this up) Pool toilets did not get cleaned on Monday 25/11 and they were full of dirty towels in the shower cubicle. I asked twice for them to be cleaned the next day as they were still full of the dirty towels and now someone had left a used swim nappy in there too (not staffs fault about the nappy). They were finally done at 5.00pm on the Tuesday 26/11. Pool area definitely needs more staff, so that plates and glassware can be collected more regularly. This would also help keep the IBIS birds away. When in the pool, you can see that the pool coping is starting to left and chip off. Tiles off in the pool itself. It really does need a facelift during the winter months as it's really starting to show its age.

Breakfast was great. Location offered all without a large crowed.
Hotel is looking dated, hallway and room carpets need cleaning

Location is unbeatable. Beautiful foyer, spacious and gorgeous view overlooking the pool area. Happy hour with $15 cocktails. The gym was lovely but it is not within the hotel itself. It is a walk over the bridge to the Marina Mirage retail precinct. You receive a card and the hotel hold $30 which you get back when you return the card. The check in staff were friendly
Our room 1074 could do with a deep clean. The patio doors are black in places, visible dust on the skirting board behind the door and pink stains on the carpet next to the bed. The chaise lounge was stained in places. I couldn't find an information booklet nor could i find a price list for the mini bar. The room is definitely dated and could do with some form of freshening up

The quietness of the rooms, proximity to beach and marina and the gardens
More staff at front desk would be better

Only the location
Rooms not clean, rooms were very very old and dated. Definitely not 5 stars or luxury, was equally as some old hotel from the seventies and plus on that very dirty!!!!

Great seafood dinner and breakfast.
No razor, shaving cream or toothbrush.

Great location.
Literally 40 meters to the beach!
Staff were amazing!
The hotel was ok, however, it’s not a 5 star hotel. It’s a little bit dated and needs a makeover.

Relaxed vibe, not too hectic even during school hols. Well kept grounds. Good location. Our son enjoyed the kids room.
Some aspects of the room felt a bit dated, range of restaurant options could be improved given lots closing down across the road at the marina. Took ages to get bar food.

The location was good as it was close to main beach restaurants
The hotel looks tired,. The bathroom needs updates. No gym in the hotel, no spa which made our stay less entertaining specially when the weather turned cooler.
4.0 / 10.0
Good location to theme parks and beach
The room was dirty, stains on the curtains, mould in the bathroom, thick dust crusted behind the tv when you pulled it out to watch, beds extremely hard and uncomfortable.

Buffet breakfast

Most of the staff were friendly
It felt a bit dated and rough around the edges
Snake in the pool area for 2 days made me feel uneasy with kids after that - it wasn’t caught
The complimentary vouchers were not really usable - only limited to stuff I didn’t like to drink
Outdoor Oasis pool bar wasn’t clear what nights it’s was open - one night was pumping the next night was closed - needs clearer advertising
Jack at Oasis pool bar was very rude

Loved the breakfast and terraces buffet.
The room we stayed in (room 2075) felt like we were in a disabled room
Eg; with the handle bars in the bathroom, even though it facilitates those special people in need, for us it felt a little uninviting and not as cosy. I think booking.com should mention what type of room it facilitates for :) .

Room was great, Breakfast was exceptional plenty of variety to choose from & the pool was a nice was to top it off.
The price for additional bedding when the website had shown it slept 3 people for this cost “advertised price” however had to pay an additional $75 for a roll out bed per night.

Location and staff were good
Rooms weren't very clean and definitely not worth the price. No windows able to be opened so room very stuffy. No exhaust fan in bathroom either.
Don't be tricked by the photos like we were definitely old aging building very disappointed for the price paid.
Pool also smaller then in the photos online and can get very crowded.
There was a lot of glasses left lying around the pool area when using it in the morning. Very unsafe with young kids around.

Michael hill conference attendees rude but this is not the hotel fault.

The staff were fantastic
The pillows were absolutely terrible and I ended up with a shocking headache from them

Everything
They double charged me by charging all my booking and spendings fully to my card and pre-authorising the same amount so it drained my card twice until I called them and asked them to return it and it took them a long time to figure it out.
I think hotels are double dipping to make their books look better for longer.

The location was great, right on the beach
For a 5 star hotel the room itself was a massive let down. We walked into our room and found rubbish left from previous people, mould in the bathroom, large stains on the carpet, stains all over the curtains, lots of dust. The rooms definitely need refurbishing.

My wife and I were staying only for 1 night at the Hotel as we had booked the Hot Air Ballooning experience, which included the buffet breakfast at the Hotel. Even though it was a short stay, we were impressed with the swim-up-bar, room and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. We'll definately be back.
The carpark cost came as a surprise. It would have been nice for this to be included in the cost of stay.

Rates are a bit on the high side but worth a one off stay
