Quiet oasis

Owners are very nice and friendly they take great care of the property. We used it as a place to work for a few days internet is really stable and both of us are able to take work calls throughout the work day.

Fijn verblijf

Goede locatie bij strand en prachtig zwembad met tuin. Comfortabele bedden in aparte slaapkamer met airco. Prima uitgeruste keuken. Boven eettafel buiten hangt een ventilator. Verder zijn er een aantal stoeltjes beschikbaar om mee naar het strand te nemen. Eigenaren zijn leuk en behulpzaam stel.

Eccellente soggiorno

posizione ottima, a due passi da molte delle principali spiagge tra cui Arashi Beach, una delle piu belle di Aruba. Appartamento pulito e con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Presente anche una piscina pulita e spaziosa. Tom e la famiglia sono stati super gentili e disponibili, offrendoci anche un ombrellone e due sedie da mare. Torneremo!

Bananas Apartments is de perfecte plek en locatie voor een vakantieverblijf op Aruba!

Super vriendelijke Nederlandse eigenaren! Wij hebben genoten van het mooie verblijf. Er is een zwembad met een mooi aangelegde tuin eromheen en veel dieren, je stapt echt in een paradijs! Handdoeken voor het strand kun je elke dag schoon pakken, hierdoor hoefden wij dit niet in onze handbagage koffer mee te nemen. Kamer wordt 5 van de 7 dagen schoongemaakt, de andere dagen kan je zelf schone handdoeken pakken. De eigenaren staan open voor al onze vragen betreft het eiland. De locatie is top, op loopafstand van tres trapi vanaf waar je met schildpadden kunt snorkelen en daarnaast een mooi strand. Een auto huren is wel een must om het eiland te kunnen verkennen. Wegens een tropische storm was onze vlucht een dag vertraagd. Ze vertelden ons direct dat wij hier zonder kosten nog een nachtje konden blijven! Bananas apartments is de perfecte plek en locatie voor een vakantie verblijf op Aruba!

Great vacation!

Lovely back yard oasis with a pool and a parrot and tortoises. Beautiful flowers and many colorful birds. Great snorkelling and kite surfing 5 minutes away.

A collapsible drying rack would be nice.

Perfect weather was fantastic lovely island

Quiet oasis far from busy streets

Absolutely LOVED our winter holiday at Bananas Apartments! Very clean, comfortable, and quiet beautiful getaway from the hustle and bustle of hotel complexes. Ton and his family were amazing hosts and so kind, always happy to answer our questions. A wise word of for potential guests: this gem is best suited for those who had been to Aruba before and have a good grasp of the area, or want to do mostly water sports or snorkeling/hiking/active holiday in the area. It is located quite far from supermarkets and cafes, with only a couple restaurants nearby, so it’s great for people who like to cook for themselves on vacation or are renting a car.

Perfect, quiet, and local place to stay with wonderful owners, gorgeous garden and pool.

The property was gorgeous and well maintained. I loved the lights for the holiday season and all of the animals - dogs, turtles, and parrot. The pool and whirlpool were clean and a great temperature! The apartment I stayed in was clean and comfortable. There were cleaning services everyday as well. I loved the location of the Banana Apartments as well. Ton, Angelique and their family were gracious, kind and thoughtful hosts. This is truly was an unforgettable experience.

this property is well maintained and within walking distance of beaches. Spacious apartments and it’s pool area located in the interior is very quite and relaxing. don’t forget to say hi to Louisa!!

would advise renting a car although there is a local bus service that seems to run all day and taxis are easy to find

Very nice place away from the tourist centre

Very nice place, clean room. Owners live at the same property. You could feel safe, calm area, away from all the crowds. Some animals like parrot or turtles in the garden. Walking distance from the beach, snorkeling with turtles is a must. Good to have a car to see Aruba around.

A Perfect Place to Relax!

We loved our stay here. Apartments were very clean with comfortable beds. The garden and the pool are truly beautiful with lots of plants, birds, Louise the parrot, and two cute little doggos.

A beautiful place to relax close to the best snorkel spots on Aruba!

The garden with the pool was amazingly build up. It's a kinda 'oasis in the desert' - a perfect place to relax. The hosts are always appreciative and helpful. The appartments are huge, effectionately furnished and equipped with a warm water shower (what is not standard on Aruba). The location is close to the best snorkel areas of Aruba what is a great benefit if you like snorkeling.

The Bananas Appartments are located in an area without many restaurants and bars. There are just two restaurants (one $$ and one $$$) in walking distance. To reach more bars and restaurants you need a car, cab or other means of transportation.....at a distance of 5+ minutes.

well worth it!!

The property was better than I could have imagined. The host were amazing and very accommodating and the space was quite and well kept. It was super easy to come and go as I pleased and check in and check out went smoothly. They offered me recommendations on things to do, places to see and even gave me some food when I arrived exhausted from travel! Who does that lol it was awesome, planning to come back in December

My room did not have wifi so I often had to step outside the door to connect or sit by the pool. No biggie I didn't even mention it to the host because I was on the go so often. Also not a biggie for me because I rented a car but it is 8-10 minutes outside of the touristy part of town which I loved but if your looking to be in the middle of the city then you may want to consider this. The island is not huge so you can get everywhere pretty quickly

It's pleasant and convenient to stay in Banana apartment

The banana apartment is super close to the beach, especially the Boca Carolina and Arish, with easy access to the snorkeling. The pool is nice and clean. the yard is beautiful with all the palm trees /banana trees. about 10 minutes drive to the supermarkets, restaurants, and Palm beach.

The room needs some updates. the pots and pants are kind of old. the queen bed is combined with two twins.

Secret surprise!

It’s all about that outdoor space! A secret oasis in Aruba. Very welcoming hosts who live on site.

Everything was great. The rooms are a little dated but absolutely everything you need is right there.

Our kids loved louise the parrot

The pool hot tub, animals, entire area was beautiful, clean and immediate. Full kitchen, 2 rooms, and bathroom were clean and functional.

Location was on a busy road, walkable to beach but felt unsafe walking along street. Rented a car and drove the 2 min to beaches nearby.

What a wonderful experience in Bananas Apartments! An excellent alternative to big hotel chains. We stayed there for 4 nights and I must say the accommodation was simply breathtaking. Hosts were so kind, generous and helped us with everything, we even received a short tour. Rooms were very clean and well equipped . Beautiful and peaceful area with wonderful garden, amazing pool, turtles and parrot and the most importantly, great location. I strongly recommended the apartments and we would definitely come back.

Wonderful first time stay!

The location of the property is a 5 minute walk from the beach and bus stop in a quiet neighborhood about 2.5 miles from Palm Beach/high rise hotel area. Ton and his family extended a warm welcome the day we arrived and kindly helped get us to the store for provisions. We very much appreciate their thoughtfulness! Thank you Ton! If you enjoy snorkeling and swimming with turtles, Tres Trapi is a few minutes walk away. It was our favorite swimming spot so the location of the apartment was perfect. Our apartment was a good size for two, the bed was very comfortable and the property has beautiful gardens which we enjoyed from the sitting area on the porch. There is a pool and hot tub on site for guests as well. We had an unforgettable first-time-in- Aruba stay here. We highly recommend Bananas Apartments and plan to return!

Great location, close to the beautiful and less busy Arashi beach (rental car recommended for dining and shopping). Much quieter and relaxing than a big resort. Relaxing common area and private veranda Friendly owners on site always available.

Twin beds put together to make a queen bed. Mattresses a bit too stiff. No dishwasher.

Superb

The place itself was wonderful, the apartment was very nice an the kitchen was very well equipped. We especially liked the beautiful garden by day and night and the pool and the very nice hosts. The apartment also was very quiet!

The only thing missing was a mosquito net.

First - the owners are PHENOMENAL! I have NEVER had an experience at a hotel or other arrangement that has been better than Bananas. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is in walking distance to the beach although it is a little distance from restaurants but if you want a local feel, this is your place.
