Pouvoir manger dehors.

A traditional Ibis. You know what you are getting. A comfortable bed, good shower, friendly staff.
The location is very far from the citycenter and you can't really use public transportation or you will use a full hour to get to city center. Uber will take 15 minutes to reach the hotel on average.

Good location, so many busses around.
Close to the beach and Calanques

The aircon wasnt brilliant

The location is suitable for anyone who wants to visit Calanques National Park. The hotel is of classic Ibis style, nothing to complain about.

Nice place for the price. The room was double bedroom room. Nice location, especially for hiking. Quite area and close to a big shopping area. Nice bathtub but not for tall people (>190 cm).
Very limited options for breakfast, the room was a bit tight.

only the key system in the elevator. it didn’t work very well

Friendly, helpful staff.. Staff did their best to rectify my problem. Shopping centre across the road. The location is good, 20 - 23 mins walk to the beach.
Cleaning staff need to wear hair nets in bedrooms to prevent hairs please. Old carpets.. Old lino in bathroom. Evidence of old leak.. Hairs on bed sheets. Hairs on desk. Lost confidence in hotel with unclean room. Cancelled my breakfast. Expensive for drinks in hotel bar eg Orange juice or water..

You would be lucky to find anywhere cheaper and ok. Not too far from the beach. Room small, basic but comortable and cool. It's a casual easy going hotel. Good for a short cheap break. 20-25 minutes walk from the beach.
No vegatarian or vegan evening meal options. But the simple breakfast is fresh and just right. Bathroom old but fuctional and not alot of water pressure but just about ok.

Rooms were of good size, had air conditioning which was needed as temperature were in the high 30's. Walk in shower and TV.
Although we didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast it did appear to be very popular with the other guests. Ice cold water was available from the bar area which was essential give the heat at the time of our stay.
Went into old Marseille on our last night, hotel booked a taxi - plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from. Plenty of parking on site but had to pay for it, there was an underground car park at extra cost which we did take advantage of just for added security our hire vehicle.
Tea and coffee facilities in bedroom would have been nice. Go with good supply of insect repellent.
Taxis only carry maximum of 4 people, because there were 5 adults in our group we needed to hire an extra one adding greatly to the cost.

We used the hotel to be able to access the Commonwealth War Grave cemetery that is about 20 mins walk away. It had a big supermarket near by to get snacks and bottled water. Hotel was airconditioned which was needed over the few days we were there.
It had the feeling of a hostel. No proper reception just a member of staff sat at a laptop in the bar area. The 'restaurant' was done out like a school canteen which was very odd and I think this added to the hostel feel. Breakfast was very basic, it was OK but nothing special. The corridor we stayed on had loud music playing from one of the rooms for a couple of hours, people running up and down the hallway and doors banging.
I had emailed the property for public transport directions and those given were partial/incorrect so I had to work it out for myself. Probably more geared for guests who drive.

Just one of the staff had a good customer service attitude. If left to me I would replace the front of house manager.Did little other than sit outside and smoke.
The reception..........no friendly greeting, Had to find my own room. Breakfast was poor and limited on quantity and choice. Will not revisit this IBIS.

Perfect to visit the orange velodrome. 40 minute leisurely walk. Also 20 minutes walking to the coast...
Not in the centre of Marseille but that's why we choose it.
