I liked that the staff were very friendly, warm and welcoming. we liked having a dive shop at the hotel and so many sites nearby. it was very beautiful, beautiful beach and nice pool. beach / sea looks like a postcard
ants and termite ants in our bed. waking from a nap on arrival to flicking small crawling creatures was not cool, and made me concerned for the stay.
ants everywhere. ants in the bathroom. room cleaned, room sprayed, sprayed outside. nothing really helped. we didn’t eat anything inside of the room for fear of ants, and every time we had beverages etc, always rinsed carefully but, it was an issue predating our stay.
pillows smelled like mould. when we arrived it smelled really strongly of lemongrass air freshener.
didn’t expect the the menu to have so many heavy / large dishes (very limited light snacks or food), and barely anything Filipino. when it’s so hot & humid, don’t want giant plates of food that go to waste.
it’s not easy to get to the hotel from town due to the condition of the road. which we could have also been warned about before arrival.

Fantastic staff. Welcoming and also respectful of privacy. The food was stellar. First time I didn’t mind eating at a hotel all the time. The beach was pristine and the dive centre folks were so helpful. Loved the slow pace of life. Definitely a place I’d come back with friends and other family.
If I had to be incredibly picky, just the fake grass rooftop above the dive centre. Somehow it seemed to take a little bit away from all the naturalness of every other aspect of this magical place.

The drive from the airport to the resort is about two hours, but believe me it's worth it and then some. The view of the resort private beach is spectacular, the staff are extremely friendly and kind, and the food is the best i had in the Philippine. The owner, fred, is a gentleman, he sat with us to tell us about the place and asked if we needed anything. Best resort experience I've ever had, it was like visiting a friend I never knew I had.
Didn't have the chance to spend more time

The ambience was very peaceful and relaxing throughout the whole resort due to it not being a huge building with hundreds of people. This place was way more personal and we could feel that there was a real attention provided to all the clients. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Special thanks to our waiter Jef who was amazing !
Their spa was amazing, nothing more to say, and the beach/pool was always quiet with very few people.
Concerning the room itself, it was big, comfortable,
and always clean. Especially the bathroom.
The food was also very good in the restaurant with a decent amount of choice.
Nothing. Everything was truly perfect.

Our Hearts favourite in Bohol.
Big elegant room and bathroom as well as balcony with amazing view.
Big swimming pool and beautiful private beach.
The most exquisit kitchen and refine staff that will welcome you with a "Welcome home, and you will really feel like it.
The massage is amazing as well as the Padi team that are marine biologists that replant the coral reef.
All this little univers is managed under a strict and loving generous eye for both his staff and wildlife preservation.
We booked 2 nights for our Honeymoon and stayed 5.
It's a little Eden, that we still want to thank today for this amazing experience
Nothing, if I really want to be picky maybe change the sun bed mattress 🙃

The place, the amenities, the staff were very accommodating and mostly the owner were very accommodating to their guest and what a coincidence the owner is also a Carmona same family name. The beach was very clean and with clean and clear water. It's superb!

friendly staff, good beds
run down property, gardens not looked after, dirty beach, building materials laying around, half the underwater lights inn the pool not working etc etc., all in all a very tired and by far too expansive property.
Good food but limited menu, no wine list to speak of.
